HEALTH MIDWIVES PLACEMENT PROGRAM - RETURN
SERVICE (RHMPP-RS) IN THE CITY OF SANTIAGO.

Your Honor, after perusal of the attached draft memorandum of

AGREEMENT, The program aims to provide competent
midwives to areas that have not performed well in terms of
facility-based deliveries, fully immunized child and
contraceptive prevalence rates, hence, improve facility-based
health services. By augmenting health staff to selected
barangays, the City Government thru the City Health Office
may improve maternal and child health and attain the
Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The program also aims
to ensure safe motherhood and newborn care, with the
objectives of reducing maternal and perinatal morbidity and
mortality. Based on the MOA, the Rural Health Midwives
deployed to serve poor performing and hard-to-reach
communities to work hand in hand with different healthcare
professionals such as dentists, nutritionists, medical
technologists and other healthcare professional to improve the
holistic health of each and every Santiagueños.

With respect to the specific details of the MOA, we have here

the presence of representatives from the ______________________.

enlighten this August Body pertaining to this request of the
