Narrative: -

1. The main drive way is made up of coal tar so to reduce the heat island effect deloxinregia and
cassia nadosa tree plantation are provided along the periphery of the drive way shading the area
due to its huge foliage
2. In similar manner the internal pathways have tree plantation so as to reduce the heat island effect
occurring due to material such as paver block
3. The jogging track uses material such has dirt which decreases the effect to a greater extent

Calculations

Total Exposed non roof impervious area 2251sqm

Driveway 1851 sqm

Internal Walkways 400 sqm

Total non-roof impervious area shaded 1126.5 sqm

Shade from trees 895.5sqm

Porosity due to dirt 231sqm

Percentage 50%

Exceed or meet credit requirement Yes
