Introduction to Mass Update
You should find this guide useful if you:
• Need to have an overview of all your products in a table
• Need to update the prices, stocks and variations of your products in bulk

What is Mass Update?
Our Mass update function supports two functionalities:
1) Export your shop’s product information to an excel file
2) Update the stock/price of your products by editing the excel file and uploading it

Export Current Product List
• Upon logging in to Seller Centre, click on My Products.

Export Current Product List
• Mouse over Batch Actions. Click Edit Existing Products.

• Click Download in Export Product Information section.

Edit the Product List Excel File
• Edit the fields that you wish to update.
• Editable columns are marked in Green, the current version support edition of:
• Weight, Price, Stock

What Fields are in the Items File?
• Product ID: unique product identifier in Shopee system
• Parent SKU #: unique product identifier for seller’s own reference
• Product Name: the name of the product displayed on the app
• Category ID: the sub-sub-category ID of the product
• Weight: the gross weight of the product
• Price: the selling price of the product
• Stock: the stock of the product
• Variation ID: unique variation identifier in Shopee system
• SKU #: unique variation identifier for seller’s own reference
• Variation Name: the name of this variation displayed on the app
• Variation Price: the selling price of this variation
• Variation Stock: the stock of this variation

1 Price of Product/Variation

• Accepted Format
• Positive real numbers
• Range: 0.10 – 999,999,999.99 (MY)
• No RM sign (RM)
• Explanation:
• To change the price, edit the price of the respective product or variation
• If you are not changing the price, leave the cell untouched
• Example:
• Valid input: 192.5, 25, 0.11
• Invalid input: 90+2, thirty five, RM12.8

2 Stock of Product or Variation

• Accepted Format
• Integers
• Range: 0 – 999,999
• Explanation:
• To update stock of a particular product or variation, edit the number
• If you are not changing the stock, leave the cell untouched
• Example:
• Valid input: 0, 1, 517, 999999
• Invalid input: 50.5, -1, 1000000

Upload the Edited File
• Click Select File and upload the edited Excel file.

Confirmation & Edit Page
• Once upload is successful, click Edit to continue.

• On this page, you can edit invalid fields, check the edited products before saving your updates.

• To edit, just click on the field, edit, then Apply.

• After editing, select the edited items and click Save Selected to save the changes. To delete the
change request, click Delete Selected.

Common Errors and Solutions

Q: Why do I see “You have unpublished products. Please publish them before importing
more products.” ?
A: This means you have unpublished products in your mass update product queue. Delete or save
them before proceeding with a new batch.

Q: Why do I see an empty page after uploading?

A: When no change of current products are detected, or all product changes are saved, this
page will show up.

Common Errors and Solutions

Q: Why do I see “Oops! Update failed. Please amend invalide product information
and resubmit.”
A: Find fields with “! Invalid”. Either edit them or delete the product update.
