INTRODUCTION
Performing arts are a form of ART in which artists use their voices and/or their bodies, often in relation to
other objects, to convey artistic expression. It is different from visual art, which is when artists use
paint/canvas or various materials to create physical or static art object. Performing arts include several
disciplines but every one is performed in front of live audiences.
Theatre
Theatre is the branch of performing arts; concerned with actig out stories in front of an audience,
using a combination of speech, gesture, music, dance, sound and spectacle. Any one or more of
these elements is performing arts. In addition to the standard narrative dialogue style of plays.
Dance
In the context of performing arts, dance generally refers to human movement, typically rhythmic
and to music, used as a form of audience entertainment in a performance setting. Definitions of
what constitutes dance are dependent on social, cultural, aesthetic artistic and moral constraints
and range from functional movement (such as folk dance) to codified, virtuoso techniques such as
ballet.
Choreography is the art of making dances, and the person who practices this art is called a
choreographer.
Music
Music is an art form which combines pitch, rhythm, and dynamic in order to create sound. It can
be performed using a variety of instruments and styles and is divided into genres. As an art form,
music can occur in live or recorded formats, and can be planned or improvised.

INSTITUTE OF PERFORMING ARTS.


An Institute of performing arts educates the above mentioned activities by professionals in
the respective fields. In such institutes, students seeking guidance on the field of performing arts
have an opportunity to get a qualification in the field of music, theatre and dance under sufficient
guidance. The lack of such institutes in India results in unpolished performers around the country.

(I) Greater Noida City is a north Indian city with a population in excess of 100,000, located
in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh

(II) It comes under the purview of the National Capital Region (NCR) of India. Situated 30 km
south-east of capital city of New Delhi.

(III) It takes around 30 minutes to travel between the cities via the Noida-Greater Noida
Expressway.

•To design an Institutewhich is based on methods and concepts which would be flexible and
responsible to balancing continuity and change in the physical environment and it would
have an appropriate image of its own making, an amalgam of buildings and landscape that
communicates a distinctive sense of place, functionality suitable for the industrial purposes.

• To create a world class Institute of music and performing arts that provides better
environment to the students and staff.

• To design Institute of music and performing arts at international standards whose architectural
characters and structural expression of the design reflects the spirit of the institutional unit to put
forward in value;

• To design such iconic institute that increases the pride of city and encourages the concept
of performing arts parks in India .

• To create world class infrastructure and modernization techniques;
