What is LRT 3
The Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) envisages to connect two million people between Bandar
Utama and Klang by 2024. Developed in line with the Greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley
(GKL/KV) Land Public Transport Masterplan, LRT3 will be a key feature in extending rail
connectivity to the Western Corridor of GKL/KV.
2. Two Integrated stations
Along the LRT3 alignment, two integrated stations are designed to provide a more convenient
travel and better connectivity to passengers, offering easy interchange with the existing rail
system:
•Station 1 – Integrated with MRT Sg. Buloh – Kajang Line at Bandar Utama Station
•Station 7- Integrated with LRT Kelana Jaya Line at CGC Glenmarie Station
3. Caters to > 2 mil population in the Western Corridor of Klang Valley
With an estimated 75% of Malaysians living in the city, LRT3 enhances interconnectivity and
mobility for a population of 450k workers and 50k tertiary students in the Western Corridor of
Klang Valley.

There will be 25 stations along the LRT3 alignment, of which five will be provisional stations.
