With reference to above mentioned subject it is to reiterate that students of

Keridriya Vidyalayas have been participating at Jawaharlal Nehru National Science,
Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for children organised by NCERT every year.

The theme for 47th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and
Environment Exhibition (JNNSMEE) 2019 is "Science and Technology for
Sustainable Development"

Sub themes are:-

1. Sustainable Agriculture Practices

2. Cleanliness and Health
3. Resource Management
4. Industrial Development
5. Future Transport and Communication
6. Educational Games and Mathematical Modelling

(Sub-themes listed above are suggestive. Students are free tc choose any other
sub-themes and develop exhibits involving Science, Technology and Mathematics
for Nation Building).

Organization of one day Seminar -

One day seminar on previous day of the SLSMEE on "Periodic Table of

Elements" may be organized by inviting eminent scientists. It is proposed that in the
same lin)a students' seminar may also be organized at the Regional level exhibition.

Wide publicity should be given regarding exhibition and students of neighbouring

s hool should be invited for the exhibition.

Expenditure required for the organization of the exhibition may be borne out of
I(VS VVN deposits as per the norms stated in KVS Accounts Code Article 197-B.

TA/DA of students and escort teachers may be borne by the respective

Vidyalayas and Regions as per KVS norms. Accordingly, all Kendriya Vidyalayas in
,. ur region may be informed.
