- Planned and lead IT audits including Security, Computer Operations, Program
change, Program Development, Project Management, System Implementation,
Divestiture, Segregation of Duties and Automated Controls. (HP-UX, Windows, SAP,
Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Access Enforcer, Compliance Calibrator). 100%
reliance for external audit.
- Conducted Ongoing Risk Assessment which fed into the Audit Plan
- Documented Department Audit Standards per IIA.
- Created Audit Programs for new areas based upon COBIT.

Americas Mobility Manager and Global Consumer Services Lead
- Managed Canada, USA, Mexico and Brazil wireless voice and data, phone extend,
pager and Blackberry programs. Provided supplier management for 10 external
wireless suppliers. Performed periodic review of costs and service levels. Worked
closely with the suppliers to address cost or service level issues. Provided
regular status to management and key stakeholders
- Led global project team on divestiture of outsourced Telecomm Consumer Services
for Lumileds, Avago, and Verigy. Completed transition or termination of consumer
services on time and on budget. Worked with the various suppliers to adjust the
contract and relationship based upon the new smaller size of the agreements. Also
managed project to terminate several Consumer Services. Annual savings of about
$2Million achieved.
- Led global, cross functional project to make outsourced Telecom consumer
services costs more visible to internal management. Increased visibility from
$500K to $1,400K in reporting database and realized 10-20% demand management
savings as a result of this cost visibility.
- Implemented US wide pager program. Consolidated 20 programs and 12 vendors to 1
consistent program with 2 suppliers saving $1Million per year and improving
service to internal subscribers and supplier relationships. Provided supplier
management for the 2 external pager vendors
- Implemented global blackberry service in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific
through a global, cross functional team which included internal email, internal PC
support, internal web, external suppliers and business stakeholders. The program
had 1000 Blackberry subscribers, mostly executives, in over 20 countries.
Conducted surveys which indicated high levels of satisfaction and reported an
average productivity increase of 10 hours per week per subscriber.
- Managed the outsourcing of provisioning and support to HP for Blackberry, Mobile
Phones, Pagers and PhoneExtend.
- Contracted with a third party supplier for mobile phone rate plan optimization
solution resulting in significant cost savings (over a $M per year on average)
- Conducted several RFP's and led a team including procurement and legal to
negotiate contracts worth several $million
- Led a global project to investigate global mobile wireless solutions.
Recommendation to deploy Wi-Fi, Blackberry, and 3G was accepted by senior
management.
- Successfully utilized web based customer survey to get customer feedback and
convince senior management to make recommended changes.
