I. COMPETENCE CORE (KI)
KI 3: Understand, apply, analyze factual knowledge, conceptual, procedural, based on

curiosity about science, technology, art, culture, and humanities with the insight of humanity,
national, state, and civilization-related causes of phenomena and events, as well as applying
procedural knowledge in the specific field of study according to their talents and interests to
solve the problem.
KI 4: Processing, reasoning, and serving in the realm of the concrete and the abstract realm
associated with the development of the learned in school independently, and able to use the
method according to the rules of science.
II. BASIC COMPETENCE

1.1 Greatful to have the opportunity to learn English as the preface of International
communication language which is done on the spirit of learning.
1.2 Show the manner, behaviour, and caring to interpersonal communication with teacher
and friends.
1.3 Show the honest behaviour, discipline, and self-confidence to do transactional
communication with teacher and friends.

1. Able to identify and analyze the social function, language features and expressions in self

V. LEARNING MATERIAL
1. Definition :
Introduction is the action of introducing something.
Self introduction is The act of introducing someone or yourself to another person. Like if you
want to introducing yourself to friend or family.

A. Approach : Scientific Approach

Student centered is learning approach that focuses on the learners rather than the
teacher. Student center teaching is based on the constructivist model in which students
construct rather than receive or assimilate knowledge (Joice, 1992:4).

B. Method : Collaborative Learning

This method comes from the view of a social construct. There are two or more students
attempt to learn together. Students engage in a common task where each individual
depends on and is accountable to another (Gokhale, 1995). This method includes; group
projects, joint problem solving, debates, study teams, and others.
C. Technique : Small Groups Discussion

This technique allows students to develop problem solving, interpersonal,
presentational, and communication skills, all are beneficial to life outside the classroom
(Armenth, 2000).
