General Civil Assumptions for Man-Hour Estimate for Township Work

(Married Accommodation Project)

Assumptions:
1. Drinking Water System
 At 18 (i.e. 50 % of total sites )sites augmentation of water system has been considered i.e. intake,
conveyance, storage & pumping system has been envisaged along with distribution system.
 At 18 (i.e.50 % of total site) locations only extension of existing drinking water system has been
considered.
 No Raw Water Treatment plant has been envisaged.
2. Plumbing
 Typical plumbing layout of type-I, II, III & IV quarters shall be applicable for all the locations. (It is
assumed that the internal quarter plan shall be same at all the locations for type-I,II, III and IV
quarters).
3. Roads & Drainage
 Roads and drains shall be constructed in two phases.
4. Sewage Treatment Plant
 Sewage Treatment Plant has only been considered for 6 locations.
5. Sanitary Sewer System
 No pumping has been considered for sanitary sewer system.
6. Tender
Reduced manhour have been considered for similar tenders with minor modifications.
7. The man-hour projection given is based on the following assumption:
 For 1st and 2nd quarter the work shall be carried out for 4 sites.
 For 3rd and 4th quarter the work shall be carried out for 8 sites.
 For 5th and 6th quarter the work shall be carried out for 12 sites.
 For 7th and 8th quarter the work shall be carried out for remaining 12 sites.
