Payment shall be made based on Value of Work Done.

Value of work done shall be


determined by measuring the length and quantity of work done and calculated as per
the cost break down below.
� It is overall responsibility of EM to organize resources to perform
construction
activities as per project specification, in compliance with quality, schedule &
safety
requirements.
� It is the responsibility of CM that construction activities are executed
according to
the relevant project specifications, in compliance with quality, schedule
& safety
requirements.
� DE will ensure that all the works are performed safely as per latest Approved
For
Construction (AFC) drawings & specifications.
� The relevant DE and Supervisor will ensure that all the pipeline/piping work
is conducted in accordance with this method statement and project specifications
� The QC will ensure that all work is executed according to PQP and
that
requirements of quality dossier are full filled.
� Safety and construction supervision will be carried out under
responsibility of
Client wherever required.

6. PROCUREMENT
The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and personnel required to
perform the fabrication, construction and installation for the project unless
otherwise stated. Materials and equipment will be bought from Vendors which are
technically qualified and financially reliable on the �technically acceptable/most
economical" philosophy.We will strive to maximize the use of Local sources,
whenever available and whenever the material meets specifications.
Contractor will nominate the Project Procurement Manager who leads the Project
Procurement Group. He will be responsible for all procurement activities and will
report directly to the Project Manager. In particular, the Project Procurement
Manager acts as an interface between the engineering staff and the procurement
organization.
The procurement organization, in association with the Project Procurement Manager,
purchase all materials and equipment, in accordance with the contractual
requirements.
The centralised procurement and subcontracting group which affords the following
advantages to overall project execution:
� Single point of control and responsibility;
� Single point of contact toward COMPANIES;
� Easy management of standardized materials;
� Faster response to construction needs;
In addition, it allows the Project Management to closely monitor the procurement
progress status and to take decisive actions immediately should any bad performance
of vendors, such as delay in the manufacturing/fabrication schedule, be observed or
predicted
