Description
The Bank for International Settlements is seeking a Product Control Analyst with excellent
analytical and quantitative skills.

We are an international organisation promoting global monetary and financial stability, and a bank
for central banks. You will help further our mission by conducting independent price verification,
assisting in the production of financial statements and helping Management obtain a deeper
understanding of the Bank's profit by operating profit and loss (P&L) explain and forecasting
processes.

Your contribution to our mission

You will perform independent verifications of the fair values of the Bank’s financial instruments and
of the valuation reserves. You will also contribute to the production of the financial statements of
the BIS operations, its pension fund, its investment pools and its hosted organisations, as well as
operate the accounting processes for activities, reconciliations and other control procedures.

Your skills and experience

We look forward to meeting candidates with a university degree in a quantitative study (preferably
with a recognised qualification in mathematical finance), as well as a primary accounting

qualification such as ACA, CPA, CA or Wirtschaftsprüfer (or a desire to acquire one). You will have
knowledge of fixed income and foreign exchange products and main valuation methodologies,
advanced MS Office (particularly in Excel and VBA) and scripting skills, and ideally experience
with databases and business intelligence reporting tools. You will be fluent in English and a good
team worker.
