1.0. DENT BALLS – DENT RODS

OVAL DENT BALLS

All dent balls are carefully made from tooling steel and polished. Their shape ensures that they
do not tip over when introduced into the larger part of the tubing.

-011A - set of 49 pieces, 8-20mm dia. in 0.25mm steps, with bore.

-011AG - same as 011A, except all balls of a diameter of 12mm and more
with M5 and M6 thread.

-011B - set of 20 pieces, 20.5-30mm dia. in 0.5 mm steps, with bore.

30mm ball with M10 thread for screwing on rods.
-011BG - same as 011B except all balls with M8 and M10 thread.
-011BE - set of 20 pieces, 20.25-29.75mm dia. in 0.5mm steps, with bore.
This set supplements no 011B to a 40 piece set in 0.25mm steps from 20.0-
30.0mm.

-012E - set of 15 pieces, 31 -40mm dia. in 1mm, and dia. 40-50mm

in 2mm steps balls with 40mm dia. and more with M10 thread.
-012EG - same as 012E, except all balls with M10 thread.

-012A - set of 5 pieces, 52/54/56/58/60 mm dia., all balls with M12 thread.

-012G - dent balls for tuba, set of 4 pieces, 70/80/90/100 mm dia.,

with thread M 16.
Order the set of four or individually.

PUSH BACK BALLS

-013 - push-back balls (drivers), set of 6 pieces, 7.5-25mm dia.,
suitable for nos. 011A and 011B.
-014- push-back balls (drivers), set of 10 pieces, 7.5-45mm dia., 011A-011B-012A-012G
suitable for nos. 01lA, 011B, 012E.

ROUND DENT BALLS (WITH THREAD)

-021G - round dent balls, hardened, with thread M5 and M6,

Supplied with 10 pieces M5 and M6 threaded rods.
These rods can be bent easily.
-021KU - round dent balls, hardened, with thread M5, set of
21 pieces, 10.5-12.5mm dia. in 0.1mm steps.

-026/0- round dent balls, set of 41 pieces, 10-20mm dia. in 0.25 steps,
threaded M5/M6 , with holes ( especially for use with dent rod 016)

-026/1- round dent balls, set of 11 pieces, 20-30mm dia. in 1mm steps,
threaded M8.

-026/2- round dent balls, set of 5 pieces, 32-40mm dia. in 2mm steps,
threaded M10

DENT RODS WITH JOINT

These dent rods are used for pushing out dents in knuckles and small diameter crooks and bows.
They are threaded at the end, to screw on balls from sets 021G,021KU, or 026/0:
-023- dent rods with joint, set of 2, with
thread M5 and M6
Can also be ordered individually:

FLEXIBLE PLASTIC RODS WITH HOLDERS

For straightening out dents in bowed parts of instruments. Threaded at both ends to screw on dent balls
(nos. 021, 021G, 021KU, 011AG, 011BG). Adjustable in length. Rod is firmly clamped in holder. The tool can be clamped in
a vise or hand-held.

-024/1 - plastic rod, M5 thread, with holder and replacement rod

RIGHT ANGLE RODS

For screwing on oval or round dent balls nos. 021G, 021KU, 026/0 or 011AG.
Suitable for mouthpipes from trumpet to fluegelhorn.

THREADED BENT DENT RODS
These bent rods are to be used with balls nos. 011AG, 011BG, 012EG, 012A, 026.
Bent rods nos. 193/2 and 193/3 can also be used as regular dent rods without balls.

-193/1 - rod for trumpet, cornet and fluegelhorn,

10mm dia. x 800mm. Both ends are tapered, with M5 and M6 thread,
supplied with 2 dent balls.
-193/2 - rod for French horn, 12mm dia. x 900mm, with 2 pieces threaded
inserts, M8 and M10. 193/1
-193/3 - rod for tenor horn/baritone, 20mm dia. x 1200mm, with
2 pieces threaded inserts, Ml0 and M12.

FLEXIBLE RODS WITH THREAD

For eliminating small dents in bowed parts of instruments. These rods are used with dent balls nos. 01lAG,
011BG, 012EG, 021, 021G, 021KU. All rods are approximately 1000mm long.
Order the set of four or individually.

-015S - flexible rods, set of 5 pieces.

FLEXIBLE DENT RODS WITH CABLE

This flexible dent rod with exchangeable, flexible inserts is ideal for eliminating small dents in trumpet, cornet and
fluegelhorn bell bows. If the dent is in the first curve, you can eliminate it without having to take the instrument apart. No.
016P is specifically designed for trombone, inserts no. 016W make the basic tool ideal for French horn. The dent
rod is used with dent balls that are bored (no.026/0, 011A or 011AG).
The appropriate dent balls are mounted on the steel cable, which is inserted into the tool and fixed in place. The dent balls are
fed under the dent and the dent is hammered out with a small metal hammer. To locate balls in place, use magnet no. 017.

FLEXIBLE DENT RODS FOR FRENCH HORN

Flexible dent rods for eliminating dents in French horn, to be used with dent
balls that are bored. The dent balls are mounted on the steel cable, which is
inserted into the tool and fixed in place. Tool can be fixed in vice.
These flexible dent rods are similar in design and function to nos 016 and 016P,
but are specially made for French horn.

METAL TUBES FOR DENT BALLS AND ROLLING BALLS

These tubes are used with large dent balls (012A, 012E, 012EG,especially 012G 026/2-3) . Their advantage is that they are
both light and stable and therefore excellent at eliminating dents in large instruments. Included in the price is an adapter M10
and M12 thread (necessary to screw on dent balls). If you need adapter M16 thread, please order separately.
All tubes 27mm dia. x 1100mm long.

BENT DENT RODS

These rods can be used for the whole range from trumpet to tuba. Made of steel,
the ends rounded off, and highly polished. The curves of the rods are ideal for
many uses. If small grooves are filed into the rods, they can always be fixed
in the same position in holder no. 170. Order the set of 5 or individually.

-192 - dent rods for French horn, bent, with approx.
150mm radius ( = 300mm dia.). Set of 2 pieces,
one bent to the right, one to the left. At the end of
each rod there is an exchangeable threaded insert
to allow for the screwing on of dent balls
(nos. 011AG, 011BG, 021G, 026/0 or 026/1).

STRAIGHT RODS WITH THREAD

These rods are used for screwing on oval and round dent balls (nos. 011BG, 012EG, 012A, 012G, 026/1-3).
They can also be used with sax balls (no. 599).

-027/1 - straight rod, 15.0mm dia. x 1000mm long, with M8 and M10 thread.
-027/2 - straight rod, 17.0mm dia. x 1000mm long, with M10 and M12 thread.
-027/3 - straight rod, 20.0mm dia. x 1000mm long, with M10 and M12 thread.

CYLINDRICAL RODS
All our cylindrical rods and pins are made of chrome-vanadium steel. With appropriate care,
these rods will remain rust-free.

-151- cylindrical rods, both ends rounded off, polished, set of 8 pieces,
9 - 25mm dia., approx. 660mm long. A tried and tested collection of the
most commonly used sizes (9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25mm dia.).

Both ends rounded off, with 2 grooves cut on one side. These pins
are used for the repair of slides and other cylindrical instrument

ROD HOLDER FOR VISE

Vise grip, with double V-grip made of polyamide,
an extremely firm plastic material. This vise grip
