Subject: About my home

Dear Vincent,

I hope you are doing well. This is an e-mail to tell you about my home. My family is small
and traditional. I have got two siblings; a sister and a brother. My sister’s name is Juliana.
She is 18 years old and she studies graphic design. She is very clever and she likes eating
hamburgers. My brother’s name is Fabian. He is 24 year old. He is a chef and he works in
a restaurant that is called “El Cielo”. He likes soccer a lot. My father’s name is Oscar, he is
53 year old. He is an employee in a company that is called “Recuperar”, he likes playing
ping pong with his friends. My mother’s name is Eresbey, I love her. She is 49 year old.
She is a babysitter and she works in our house with a lot of children. My father’s mother
usually visits us on vacation. My grandmother’s name is Eduviges, she is 80 year old. She
is always very kind. I forgot to tell you about Mike. Mike is my pet, he is a dog. He is
small but beautiful.

Well, we live in a lovely house. Our house is not very big but it is perfect for us. In my
house there is a garden, Mike usually runs here. In the garden there are many plants, there
are two armchairs, there is a table and there is an umbrella. In the living room there is a
sofa, there is a painting, there is a T.V, there is a stereo, there are curtains and there is an
armchair. The dining room has four places and next to there is a pc. In our house there are
three bedrooms. In my bedroom there is a small bed, there are many paintings, there is a
wardrobe, there is a chair and there is a bookcase with some classic books. Also, there is a
pc, there are two guitars but there isn’t a T.V. There is a bathroom next to it.

My parent’s room is the master’s bedroom and there is another bathroom, there is a big bed,
there is an old T.V, there are two paintings, there are two lamps, there is a stereo and there
is a mirror. In my siblings’ bedroom there are two beds, there is a mirror but there isn’t a
T.V. Their bedroom is very big.

The kitchen is small, there are some cabinets, there is a refrigerator, there is an oven and
over there is a stove. Also, there is a sink and there are many silverwares.

In Colombia we haven’t a laundry area but there is a “lavadero” that is similar. In the
“lavadero” there is a washing machine and there is a sink. Our house is a place very quiet
near a neighborhood where there are many kind people. Well, I hope you like it.
