Gender mainstreaming in education is the process of assessing the implications for girls
and boys/women and men of any planned actions and integrating these into decision-making at
every stage of the planning and program cycle. It should take into consideration the indicators
which contribute in the development of gender responsive. People engaged in GAD must be
knowledgeable enough to properly conduct gender equal programs.
