I. TITLE: GENDER MAINSTREAMING IN THE K TO 12 EDUCATION

II. BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:

Gender mainstreaming in education is the process of assessing the implications for girls
and boys/women and men of any planned actions and integrating these into decision-making at
every stage of the planning and program cycle. It should take into consideration the indicators
which contribute in the development of gender responsive. People engaged in GAD must be
knowledgeable enough to properly conduct gender equal programs.

III. TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

This training specially aims to:

1. Define the meaning of Gender Mainstreaming in the K to 12 Education.


2. Identify the processes of the Gender Mainstreaming Cycle.
3.Understand Gender Analysis as one of the elements of Gender Mainstreaming.
4. Utilize Gender Responsive Budget effectively
.

4. Evaluation: All teachers who undergone the training shall have the
knowledge and skills to implement the SLAC Activities as an evidence by improving the
proficiency level in pupils academic performance.

and skills following the best practices.
3. Inculcate among teachers the adaption of risk management in teaching and the proper
values formation needed safe and conducive teaching atmosphere.
