2. NAMAN KUMAR GAUR, 3RD year PG Resident of Dept. of Radio Diagnosis receives the Gold Medal at
the National Conference USCON XXVI held at Lucknow on 5th November 2017.

3. HARSH GOYAL, 3RD year PG Resident of Dept. of Radiation Oncology receives the Best Paper
Award from Pioneer of Oncology by Dr. S.H. Advani in 1st Annual Indian Breast Cancer Conference
(IBCC) 2017 held at Jaipur.

4. KU. ELIZA KAPADIA, the student of MBBS (2012-13 Batch) grabs the 1st position in Devi Ahilya
Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Indore Final MBBS Examination.

5. DR. NEERAJ KATARE, 3RD Year Resident of Dept. of Microbiology has presented research paper in
“Oral Presentation” on "HIV associated Coccidian diarrhoea; an opportunistic correlation" and
was awarded 1st Prize in 1st Rajasthan chapter of Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology 2016" held
at AIIMS, Jodhpur on 2-3rd Sept. 2016.

6. DR. NIKITA YADAV, 2nd Year Resident of Dept. of ENT was awarded Best Poster Presentation on
“Radiological study of Congenital Anomalies in profoundly deaf children – A Review of 15
cases” in 8th Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Midterm Conference & Live Surgical Workshop held on 3-4th Oct.
2015 at Indore (M.P.)

7. DR. SONIA TIWARI, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine has been awarded Gold Medal and
2nd Prize for the research paper “A study of health seeking behavior and awareness of MCH
practices, in a rural village of M.P.” at Delhi on 22nd -23rd Aug. 2015.

8. PRIYUSHA BAGDARE (Physicist) has received Best Paper award in Oral Presentation on "Is intensity
modulated radiotherapy always superior technique than three dimensional conformal
radiotherapy for treatment of non-small cell lung cancer: A comparative study" in International
Conference on Medical Physics, Radiation Protection and Radiobiology (ICMPRPR-2K15) held at SMS
Medical College, Jaipur from 20th to 22nd Feb 2015.

9. DR. TRUPTI BAJPAI, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Microbiology has won the prize in International
Conference on Emerging Challenges in Biotechnology, Human Health & Environment & 8th Annual
Convention of Association of Biotechnology & Pharmacy held at Guntur n 18-20th December 2014.

Ophthalmology won 1st Prize for quiz competition in 38th Annual Conference of Madhya Pradesh State
Ophthalmic Society (MPSOS - 2014) held at Sagour from 10-12th October 2014.

12. DR. PRAPTI PATEL MD Radiotherapy Resident, receives First Prize in Paper Presentation in National
Young Radiation Oncologists Conference 2014 held Vishakapattanam from 4th and 5th January 2014.

2nd Prize in Paper Competition category.

18. DR. BRAJENDRA BASER Prof. & HOD, ENT, was awarded the prestigious Dr. T.V. Krishna Rao Gold
medal in Hyderabad on 24th March 2013 by the Andhra Pradesh ENT association for my contribution to
ENT specialty in India.

March 2012.

31. DR. POOJA GUPTA was awarded for winning First Prize in Paper Presentation in 56th All India
Congress of Obst. & Gyn. - 2013 at Mumbai on 20th Jan. 2013. The study was conducted at SAIMS.

32. The Medical College Hospital (Mohak Hitech Speciality Hospital, SAIMS) is declared as the
International Center of Excellence for Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation
(SRC), USA in the year 2012.

33. DR. MOHIT BHANDARI receives the award for Best Bariatric & Metabolic Surgeon in FALS-2012 by
Dr. T. Udwadia.

34. DR. KAVITA MUNJAL Professor, Pathology was awarded the First prize in Poster Presentation in
International Papilloma Virus Conference at University of Vermont (College of Medicine), Berlin in 2011.

35. DR. MILIND JOSHI, Consultant Pediatric and Laparoscopic Surgeon and Pediatric Urologist, Associate
Professor, Pediatric Surgery at SAIMS has been awarded Gold Medal in D.N.B. Pediatric surgery
superspeciality course conducted by National Board Of Examinations for standing 1st position and
achieving highest marks. He was honored by Parliament speaker Mrs. Meera Kumar and Union Health
Minister Mr. Gulab Nabi Azad at the 17th Convocation of DNB at New Delhi. Dr. Joshi, also holds the
rare academic feast of achieving 1st position for scoring highest marks in M.Ch. Pediatric Surgery
examination conducted by MUHS Nashik in 2009. He was also awarded as honorary visiting professor
by Lanzhou university and Lanzhou medical college hospital, China for his academic publications in the
field of Urology in 2010. He has successfully established pediatric endourology procedural set up at
Mohak Superspeciality Hospital, Indore.He was also been awarded FALS.

36. Deptt. of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care of SAIMS bags Best Scientific Poster Award at National
Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists held at Jodhpur (Raj.) from 26th-29th Dec. 2008.
The poster was presented by Professor Dr. (Col.) M. Kapadia & Dr. Mayank Kulshreshtha, Asst. Prof.,
Deptt. of Anaesthesiology, SAIMS, Indore.
37. Dr. Avanish Mishra, Asst. Professor, Deptt. of Biochemistry has been nominated for “Rashtriya Gourav
Award” from Indian International Friendship Organisation, New Delhi.
38. Anuj Gupta and Akshat Malik selected and participated in a course on Bio-informatics jointly organised
by ICMR and AIIMS in April 2008.
39. Akshat Malik, Anuj Gupta, Sumit Periwal participated in a Science Conference and presented a project
winning consolation prize.

41. Dr. Ranjan Preet Kaur, Senior Resident in Obs. and Gynae.- Best paper award at FOGSI Conference
for paper her research paper titled-"Maternal mortality a battle still to win" at AICOG 2009 held at
Jaipur from 5th- 8th January 2009.

42. Ms. Kanchan Katariya- selected for ICMR Studentship 2008 for her work on "Efficacy of Antenatal
Care (ANC) in pregnant females and their perinatal outcome" under guidance of Dr. Pratibha Singh.

43. Mr. Sankalp Dwivedi- selected for ICMR Studentship 2008 for his work on project- "Peak exploratory
flow rate in malnourished children at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore" under
guidance of Professor Dr. Kuldeep Singh.

44. Ms. Renu Rajai - ICMR Studentship 2007 awarded for her work on project titled- "Prevalence of
extended spectrum of β-lactamases in the members of enterobacteriaceae specifically in
Escherichia Coli and Klebsiella species isolated at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences,
Indore" under guidance of Associate Professor Dr. G.S. Bhatambare.

45. Ms. Namrata Ubriani- ICMR Studentship 2007 awarded for her work on project titled- "Knowledge,
attitude and practices regarding Breastfeeding among mothers attending immunization clinic at
Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore" under guidance of Professor Dr. Kuldeep
Singh.
