RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The structured questionnaire was developed for this research. In order


to provide just multiple choice questions, the questionnaire was
organized. The questions asked were evident, straightforward and
unambiguous. The reason for using a multiple choice question in this
study is because they are used extensively in investigation and gives a
more consistent answer. Multiple choice questions are simpler for the
respondent to answer and the collected information can be analyzed and
interpreted more easily by the investigator.

As the research conducted was done with the help of primary as well as
secondary data there was a survey and hence data interpretation was to
be done.

Primary information- Personal interviews, questionnaires, surveys etc.


were the distinct ways of gathering primary data. Since my project is
quantitative, primary data are gathered from a questionnaire / survey.

Secondary information- In different organizational papers and


documents secondary data was gathered from current sources.
Secondary data from journals, websites and further research were
gathered for the research.

descriptive study was performed by examining current literature, which
helped validate and extract significant factors.

DATA ANALYSIS

India has an online population of 213 M, 60 percent of them men and 40% of them
women. There are 110 M mobile web users, 80% of them men and 20% women.
The Social Media includes 176 million of the total Internet population.

Young men and women between 25-34 years of age are among the main
consumers of the Internet, while power users are India, males between 18-24.
Underneath are wise age distributions.

SURVEY

This survey was performed by collecting a predefined series of


multiple choice questions which was used to collect information
from the employees and interns belonging to various departments of
the firm.

There were 21 respondents in total belonging to various designations


that included branch manager, managing director, marketing head,
marketing technologist, retail manager, social media manager and
student here is referred to the interns working under various managers

As you can see in the above given pie chart the higher percentage of
importance is given to the generation of sales which is 47.6% followed
by 23.8% of building brand awareness among target audience for value

Proposition. Generation of leads, traffic and online community is given


equal consideration i.e. 9.5%.

In past year’s performance the sales executives have measured the


success of their digital marketing programs through sales at maximum
47.6% and website click rate was 14.3% which is the same as brand
awareness. The least was through website traffic.

The below diagram shows that social media marketing for the company
was more successful through instagram than facebook. The percentage
of agreement for instagram was 52.4% and for facebook was 33.3%.

Lowest preference was given to twitter as a promotional media and other


includes pinterest tumblr etc.

It was recorded that highest allocation of budget was invested on social


media marketing 40% of respondent agreed and 30 % agreed on equally
across all channels. Pay per click and search engine optimization was
given equal preference 15%.

According to the workforce content was updated on weekly basis on all


the social media platforms like facebook, instagram, twitter etc.

The company is doing maximum advertising with the help of social


media boosters and Google ad words.

At last maximum number of respondents agreed that past year’s


performance was met and up to the expectation. But still there is a lot to
learn and make digital marketing as more effective and efficient medium
of brand promotion.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

Digital Marketing Industry's fast development is a direct result of the


worldwide Internet phenomenon and the Digital Market's efficiency.

DIGITAL MARKETING CHANNELS

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the method in which the "natural"


or unpaid ("organic") search findings of a search engine affect the SEO
may aim search, various types of quest, including image search, local
search, video search. As an internet commercialization approach, SEO
looks at the job of search engines, what individuals are searching for and
the real Google words or keywords written in search engines. To
optimize a page, its contents, HTML and related coding could be edited,
both to improve its significance to particular keywords and to overcome
obstacles to Google engine indexing. Promoting a website to improve
the volume of rear connections or inbound connections is a different
SEO strategy.

SEM is an Internet marketing method that enhances awareness of


customers through publicity and Optimization SEM, by growing
transparency in the Google outcomes sections (Google analytics pages).

TOOLS USED

Google Trends Google Trends is a Google Inc. government internet


facility that uses Google Search to demonstrate a certain search term is

globe and in different languages. Popularity by country, areas, towns and
language is broken down under the primary graph. Google Trend can be
used by marketers to find out where their greatest and lowest search
takes place.

Keywords analyzer is like a workshop for creating new or extending


current search network campaigns. Marketers can look for keywords and
ad group thoughts, see how to list keywords, and even generate a fresh

CONCLUSION

The successful completion of this internship shows that the marketing


future is in digital hands. In addition to putting advertisements in portals,
digital marketing comprises of integrated services and embedded
channels. Brands want to construct their presence across digital
platforms because they are very closely related to digital media than
other media. More than that clients are very interested in data and digital
media.

Brands can use digital platforms to effectively engage their target group.
Not only do digital media help, brands can expand their clients or
maintain their current clients.

The effect of brand recall on target groups is increased by digital


platforms. The study on customer engagements demonstrates that they
are extremely informed seekers and study a product before they go to a
retail store. Brands want to offer customers platforms to comprehend or
really feel their product.

This project report will be of great help for marketers, I sincerely think,
to comprehend digital marketing and to plan future policies.

SUMMARY

I am student of amity school of business and I have completed my


internship in C&R Textiles Pvt ltd. My summer internship was in
Digital media Marketing. Throughout my internship I have been
working in different area of digital media which included social media
marketing, content marketing, email marketing, SEO, keyword analysis,
influencer marketing etc .this report was written after getting experience
from digital marketing.

The report tells about the various applications of digital medis marketing
which will help the readers to get an idea about the digital industry and
its importance in creating value proposition for a brand. The report is
supported with all the primary and secondary data that was collected
during my internship period .After reading this report reader will be able
to understand the classroom knowledge and differ between the real life
situation.

The title of my study is “A study on digital marketing services with


C&R textiles Pvt ltd “. The primary objective of the internship was to
get experience and skills to develop future job opportunities. The
methodology and findings used in the report are all well explained and
discussed with help of all the researched and collected data.

various ideas of digital marketing, but it could vary from scenario to
