I.1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

(С4С) jackpots cabinet are designed for representation of


the games, participating in accumulation and distribution of the Cat 4 Cash Multi-
Level Progressive Jackpot and they are a part of Cat 4 Cash Jackpot System
(C4C JS), in which a jackpot server, jackpot display and server setup module are
inclusive, as well. Virtually, unlimited number of machines (minimum 4) and
displays can be connected in Cat 4 Cash Jackpot System .
The games of Cat 4 Cash series are visualized and played on
the 22'' widescreen LCD-TFT monitor and the 32'' vertical LCD-TFT
monitor displays values of the jackpots.
The series is developed on the basis of the Exciter II Gaming Platform,
specially created for EGT and complied with the newest requirements of the gaming
industry. Among the most important technical characteristics of Exciter II are low
energy consumption and operation on only one power voltage.
The cabinets feature with their stylish design and ergonomic shape. They are

made of high-quality materials and equipped with all necessary periphery devices
and modules.
The Stereo sound, 22" and 32" LCD monitors and built-in touchscreen offer a
high level of interactivity.

I.3. OPERATING CONDITIONS

Cat 4 Cash jackpot machine are designed and manufactured to keep their
operability at the following conditions:

 Ambient temperature: from +10С° to +30С°


 Relative humidity: from 20% to 80%
 Vertical operation position
 Power supply voltage:

This Gaming Machine is designed for indoor use.

WARNING!
The main computer has a Li-Battery. At replacing, dispose it to the
places determined for that.

I.4. TRANSPORTATION

Move the machine only when the power is switched off.


The cabinet must be placed in vertical position upon transportation. It must be
in stable position, secured against moving and mechanical impact upon
transportation.

WARNING!
After transportation or moving of the machine from colder to warmer
premise, wait at least two hours before switching on in order to avoid
humidity condensation.

I.5. SAFETY AND PRECAUTION MEASURES

The gaming machine is executed as protection class I device in terms of


protection against electric shock hazard in accordance of the requirements,
provided by EN 60335-1.
The machine shall be connected only to a two-pole power socket with
protective grounding of the electric wiring. The machine shall be placed in the
premise in such a manner that the eclectic plug is easily accessible. If this
requirement is not complied with, the user shall provide other means (e.g. circuit
breaker) for power disconnection, which shall have such distance between contacts,
ensuring full disconnection of all poles, according to Category III Surge Protection
Conditions.

The power cord of the gaming machine shall always be disconnected from the
socket, when any repairs or servicing are performed at open main door.
In case of power cord damage, it shall be replaced by a special cord or cord
set, supplied by the Manufacturer or its representative.
The fuses may be replaced only by new ones, complying with the parameters
of the original fuses.

Do not:
 Operate the machine in the open or in premises with high humidity.
 Install and use the machine in premises, where it can be exposed on
water drops or sprinkles.
 Operate close to heating units or expose to direct sunlight.
 Pour the machine with any liquids. In case if it happens, immediately
disconnect the power plug from the socket and call service specialist.
 Cover ventilation outlets on the machine body.
 Drop anything into the ventilation outlets.

INTRODUCTION
 Kick and/or hit the gaming machine.
 The machine is not designed to be use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensorial, or mental abilities, or by persons with
lack of experience and knowledge unless they have supervisor or
instructor responsible for their safety.
 See to it that the children do not play with the machine.

II.1. VISUAL INSPECTION

Before installation the machine shall be visually inspected for possible


transportation damages.

WARNING!
The Manufacturer shall not bear liability for damages occurred upon
transportation of the Gaming Machine.

II.2. POWER SUPPLY CABLE MOUNTING

Before mounting the gaming machine at the chosen place, the power supply
cable must to be mounted. It is into the gaming machine during the transportation.
The power supply cable mounting has to be performed in this way:
 Dismantle the hopper (if there is such). For this purpose:

 Pull the fixing plate (Pos.2, Fig. II.1) away on the right over the furrow
while the fixing screw (Pos.5, Fig. II.1) is released;
 Pull the Hopper (Pos.6, Fig. II.1) lightly forward by sliding and take it out
from the carriage (Pos.7, Fig. II.1);

 The power supply cable (Pos.7, Fig. IІ.2) has to be mounted following the
steps:

 Dismantle nuts М4 (Pos.4, Fig. IІ.2);
 Remove the pressing plate (Pos.5, Fig. IІ.2);
 Remove the base plate (Pos.6, Fig. IІ.2);
 Pull out the power supply cable (Pos.7) from the outlet (Pos.9) as it shown in

Fig. IІ.3 while the stopper of the cable (Pos.8) sticks on the plate (Pos.6).
 Mounting the base plate (Pos.6), pressing plate (Pos.5) and nuts М4 (Pos.4).

II.3. GAMING MACHINE INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

In order to ensure proper operation of the machine the preliminary opera-


tions, described below shall be performed:
 Place the machine in vertical position;
 Upon installation ensure at least 10 cm cooling space behind the back
of the machine;

 Check for disconnected cables and connectors inside the cabinet;
 Check if the voltage in power supply mains complies with the operating
voltage of the machine.
 The firmware in iButton Reader PCB must be taught which Dallas
electronic key to be recognized.

 The machine is designed for the following voltages: 100 - 240 V~ 15%

50 ÷ 60Hz
 Place the power cable and connect it to the power mains;
 Turn the main power switch on and wait the appearing of picture on the
screen;
 Insert OWNER key and set up the desired machine and game
parameters;
 Check the operation of the rest keys and devices used for credit forming
and payout.
II.4. GAMING MACHINE INITIAL SETUP

INSTALLATION
WARNING!
The gaming machine is delivered from the producer with test settings. It is
necessary to make the initial setup of the gaming machine to be put into
operation.

The initial setup of the machine includes 4 operations which are described
later in the document:
 Gaming machine memory reset;
 Initial settings of gaming machine parameters;
 Gaming machine authorization procedure;
 Gaming machine control restart.

NOTE!
The authorization can be done before the initial machine setup according to
the prior arrangement with EGT service. Gaming machine memory reset at
any time after the authorization does not require a new authorization.

ІІ.4.1. Gaming Machine Memory Reset
Machine memory reset (NVRAM) shall be performed only when it is
necessary and only by authorized service staff.
For this purpose a NVRAM clear DIP switch is used, which is placed on the
EXCITER II Motherboard. The switch ant its location are shown on the picture
below:

ON

To perform machine memory (NVRAM) reset follow the procedure described


below:
a) Power the machine off;
b) The FC card with game has to be put on the SATA1 slot of the Exciter II
platform;
c) Put the NVRAM clear DIP switch in ON position.
d) Close the Exciter II platform box;
e) Power the machine on and await until a “*NVRAM cleared. *Please turn
off the NVRAM clear DIP switch and restart the machine.” message
appears on the lower screen of the machine;
f) Power the machine off;
g) Open the Exciter II platform box and put the NVRAM clear DIP switch in
OFF position (upper position).
g) Close the Exciter II platform box and power the machine on ;
h) Wait until the screen with a list of settings which have to be done appears.

WARNING!
Do not replace the gaming flash cards between the gaming machines!

NOTE!
Machine memory reset is possible only if a CF game card is inserted into
the platform. If a CF card is not inserted, a message appears on the
machine screen: Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot
Media in selected Boot device and press a key. It is necessary to put
the CF card on its place and repeat the procedure, described above. The
machine is reset for the appropriate game.

WARNING!
The following parameters are cleared upon machine memory reset
procedure:
Gaming machine settings;
Electronic meters data for Master and Period Accounting;
All Events Logs.

ІІ.4.2. Initial Settings of Gaming Machine Parameters

INSTALLATION
The setup of parameters shall be performed after machine memory reset.
When the machine is switched on with a game flash card after NVRAM Clear,
the following screen appears:

This screen contains a list of all menus in which there are unset parameters,
that shall be set once. With regard to proper operation of the machine, all these
parameters shall be set correctly!

NOTE!
The setup menus will become active after Owner key insertion. In case of
entering by this key is not possible, that means the software does not
identify the key and it is necessary to follow the procedure of its teaching
(see Service Manual of Vega Vision Series Gamin Machine. For the
service manual please contact the EGT service.)
After machine memory clear all one-time settable parameters are Not Set.
After setting of all Not Set parameters of a given menu, it disappears from the list in
Fig II.4.

WARNING!
Set each of these parameters carefully as their values may be set one time
requiring a NVRAM to be cleared.

The following message appears on the screen (Fig. II.5.) after this procedure
and the machine has to be restarted:
Please, restart the gaming machine!

WARNING!
For proper setup of the one-time settable parameters the following order of
setup procedure is mandatory:

3. Calibrate the touchscreen (Touch Screen Calibration) in Diagnostics

4. Set the parameters in Setup/Monetary Settings Menu.
5. Set the parameters in Setup/Progressive Settings Menu.
6. Set Bet Buttons parameter in Common submenu in Game Setup
menu,
7. Set Min Bet per Line parameters in Game Setup menu for each of the
games.
8. Set Reels’ Fast Stop and Game Speed parameters in Game Play
menu.

After the parameters, specified above 8 are set, the rest of the parameters
from the list, shown on Fig.II.4 are specified in accordance with the provisions of the
appropriate legislation and/or by decision of the casino/gaming hall manager.

ІІ.4.3. Gaming Machine Authorization Procedure

WARNING!
Make a connection with the EGT service and fix an exact date and time for
online support (at least 2 days before the authorization procedure).

WARNING!
Authorization process is an event in real time (within 1 hour of machine
starting/ login menu OWNER. This process requires sending the base code
to the service, generate a valid activation code which has to be sent back
to the client and after receiving it is inserted manually into the machine. This
implies an advanced reservation and fixing an date and time.

After the gaming machine parameters setting and machine restart, the
select game screen of the appropriate Multigame is logged. It is necessary to select
a game from the list and the AUTHORIZATION screen appears:

NOTE!
Authorization code appears when there are no error messages and the
machine is really ready for a game.

The authorization screen can appear if a Service → Authorization menu of


the service function is chosen before the initial machine setup and before the
debugging.

Base Code is displayed on the screen.


Otherwise, it is necessary to phone to the EGT Service and tell the operator
your Base Code. The operator will give you your activation code in reply, which
code shall be entered into Enter Code field. By pressing a Button B1 button may
move the marker left to right and by pressing a Button B2 button may change the
value of the marking number. To save the new code, press a START button.
NOTE!
After entering the received code, please check it again before confirming by
START button.
After three unsuccessful attempts to insert the right code the system will be
restarted. The system has to be restarted if the activate code is not inserted up to 1
hour.
After restart the Base Code will be changed. The procedure must be
repeated again.
Time Left: the authorization is valid for this left time.

III.1. CONTROL KEYS

Access to the credit forming screen, service functions and accounting of the
machine may be preformed by use of either mechanical or electronic keys.
The system recognizes 4 types of keys:
 ATTENDANT - attendant’s mechanical/electronic key by which player’s credit
is forming and handpay and jackpot splashes are reset. Some of failures of
the machine operation may be unblocked by this key as well (these of
WARNING type);
 CASHIER - cashier’s mechanical/electronic key by which can realize access
to the machine service functions without setup menus and “Clear Period
Accounting” menu.
 ADMIN - manager’s mechanical/electronic key, by which can realize access to
the machine service functions, including „Clear Period Accounting” menu,
without setup menus. Can clear “Waiting for progressive information” splash.

GAMING MACHINE SERVICE


 OWNER - owner’s mechanical/electronic key, used to view detailed statistics
or perform machine setup, clears “Waiting for progressive information” splash,
has access to all menus of machine service functions.

III.2. CREDIT FORMING



In order to start a game, it is necessary to form a credit, from which the
player’s bets are deducted. This may be done in several ways:
 By tokens or coins, which the player inserts into the appropriate slot on the
machine keyboard. In this case the appropriate devices has to be enabled in
the machine setup and the token/coin value has to be set;
 By bills (depending on bill validator installed), which are inserted into the bill
validator slot. Use of Bill Validator has to be enabled from the setup and the
values of the appropriate channels set;
 Via Attendant key, if it is enabled from setup.
If the Attendant key is inserted, the window, shown on Fig. III.1 will appear
on the screen.

Credit addition can be performed:
From the Screen Keyboard:
1. Dial the necessary number by touching the digit keys on the touchscreen
keyboard. If a wrong digit is chosen, press <- ;
2. Press Add button;
3. If new Current Credit value is wrong, press Cancel and enter again;
4. Save the credit value by pressing the Save button;
5. If the new credit value exceeds the Credit limit, set in the setup, the
Attendant Limit sign starts blinking and the credit will be changed;
6. Press Exit button to return to the game.
From the Machine Keyboard:
This is an alternative way to form credit, in which Button B1, Button B2, and
Button B3 buttons are used. Each pressing of these buttons adds an amount,
defined in the setup to the credit. When the START button is pressed, the added
amount is saved in the credit and the machine returns to game mode.
When Button B5 button is pressed, the added amount will be deleted from
the field.

WARNING!
In countries where the legislation prohibits addition of credits by attendant
with a key, this option shall be disabled.

III.3. CREDIT CLEAR

Credit zero reset and payout thereof may be performed only if the game is in
bet mode after pressing a CASH OUT button.
At pressing a CASH OUT button the credit may be paid out by Attendant
(handpay), via hopper or via thicket printer depending on settings of the gaming
machine.

III.4. JACKPOT PAYOUT

III.4.1. Cat 4 Cash Progressive Jackpot Payout


Cat 4 Cash Progressive Jackpot with 4 levels is supported. Each of levels
can be won during the special CAT 4 CASH Feature, which is the same for all
games.
Cat 4 Cash Progressive jackpots are controlled by Premium Progressive

Controller, without which the machine can not work. They are accumulated from
bets, made during gaming at all machines linked in the network to the server, which
bets are distributed into visible and invisible part in a manner, defined by the casino
owner (the settings are in the server).
After the end of the CAT 4 CASH Feature, if the machine is won some of the
Cat 4 Cash Progressive Jackpot levels (Mini, Midi, Maxi or Mega), a splash
appears on the lower monitor, where the collected credits, the level won and the
won amount are written.

This splash is only greeting. Depending on machine settings it may


automatically disappear or be cleared by Attendant key. If a Jackpot Handpay
splash is appeared after this greeting splash, then the amount won has to be paid
by hand (handpay), otherwise it is inserted to the credit.
After the splash is cleared, the game on the machine can be continued.

III.4.2. Classic Blend (Vega) Mystery Jackpot Payout


The program supports mystery jackpots, which are controlled by Classic
Blend (Vega) Jackpot Server. Up to 3 independent mystery jackpots (Mini, Middle
and Super) with different settings are available.
When the machine receives information from the CBJS (VJS) Server, that it
wins a Mystery Jackpot, a message, containing information of the won Mystery
Jackpot and its amount with the bank currency code appears in upper right corner of
the screen: Mystery Jackpot Won: XXXX USD. After completion of the game,
during which information of Mystery Jackpot won, is received, the following jackpot
splash appears:

This splash is only greeting. Depending on machine settings it may


automatically disappear or be cleared by Attendant key. If a Jackpot Handpay
splash is appeared after this greeting splash, then the amount won has to be paid

III.5. MACHINE RESERVATION AND RELEASE

If the Attendant key is inserted, the window, shown on the figure below will
appear on the screen:

Lock and Unlock buttons are used to reserve (LOCK) and release
(UNLOCK) the machine. At machine reserving the game picture with RESERVE
sign appears on the screen after the EXIT button is pressed. In this mode the
machine is locked for playing or credit change until being unlocked.

III.6. SIGNAL LIGHTS LIGHTING MODES

The signal lights are mounted on the top of the machine.

2. Lamp 2 - yellow (Open Door)


a) This lamp starts blinking counter-phase to Lamp 3 in the following cases:
- at door opening;
- at entering into Service Functions with Owner key and credit = 0.
b) The lamp goes off after eliminating the reason, led to activation thereof.

3. Lamp 3 - green (Tilt/Change)


a) This lamp is activated in the following cases:
- at SERVICE button activation;
- in case of fatal, non-fatal software error or warning;
- in case of entering into Calculator;
- at demonstration of splashes on network conditions.
b) The lamp goes off:
- at SERVICE button deactivation;
- after error or warning cleanup;
- right after closing the calculator;
- right after disappearing of splashes on network conditions.
c) Blinking mode:
- blinks at 500 ms in phase with Hand Pay Lamp (red) and counter-phase
with Open Door Lamp (yellow);
- only in Calculator mode the lamp lights continuously and goes off at exit

III.7.1. Exciter II Motherboard and Exciter II Connectors Board Box


Description: Blow the dust away from the fun and the processor radiator
using a mighty air stream. Clean only when the power is switched off! For
prevention can address to the nearest EGT service .
Recommended Maintenance Period: monthly.
Cleaning: Clean the dust from the outside of the fan. Use a soft brush and
vacuum cleaner. Clean only when the power is switched off!
III.7.2. Monitors / Touchscreen
Description: Upon normal operation a part of grease and contaminations on
players’ fingers remain on the touchscreen, which may impair its sensitivity in some
zones.
Recommended Maintenance Period: minimum once a week,

recommended after each client.


Cleaning: With a soft cloth and glass cleaning liquid. Do not allow leakages
of cleaning chemical and soaking of seals. In most cases this leads to interruption or
full blocking of device operation.
III.7.3. Cabinet Fans
Description: Accumulation of dust on the fans impairs machine cooling and
may become and obstacle for its normal operation.
Recommended Maintenance Period: each 3 months.
Cleaning: Use a soft brush and vacuum cleaner. Clean only when the power
is switched off! If a fan stops working or works with a high noise level, it should be
replaced by a new one with the same model.
III.7.4. Bill Validator
Description: Upon normal operation dirt from bills is transferred into the
device and accumulated on pressing rolls, magnetic head and optical sensors of the
unit.
Recommended Maintenance Period: Depending on ambient conditions. In
normal conditions the cleaning shall be carried out each 6 months. At severe
operation conditions, such as polluted, dusty environment, and/or such with high
relative humidity or high level of micro-particles, it is recommended to perform
cleaning more often.
Cleaning: The cleaning shall be performed with a piece of soft cloth, which
shall not leave lint on surfaces, soaked with 90% isopropylene alcohol. Clean only
when the power is switched off!

III.7.5. Hopper, Coin/Token Acceptor


Description: The maintenance of these devices shall be performed in
accordance with the instructions of the device manufacturer.
III.7.6. Ticket printer
Description: Upon normal operation accumulation of dust on the paper
might reduce printing quality.
Recommended Maintenance Period: Depending on ambient conditions. In
normal conditions the cleaning shall be carried out each 6 months. At severe
operation conditions, such as polluted and/or dusty environment, it is recommended
to perform cleaning more often.

disconnected LED.
Problem solving: Defective LED’s are replaced by new 12V ones. Replace
LED’s only when the machine power is switched off!
III.7.8. Electromechanical Meters
Description: There are 6 electromechanical meters installed in the machine.
The machine controls their condition and displays error message in case of short
circuit or disconnected meter. In this case check the meter circuit. If the defect is in
the meter itself, it shall be replaced by a new one of the same type.
Recommended Maintenance Period: After long-time of operation some of
the meters begin to partially or fully fail to count. Although they are electrically fit, in
this case they shall be replaced by new ones.

Exciter II Motherboard is a special platform, designed for creation of modern
video games and game systems.
Exciter II Motherboard has one main connector, through which it is connected
to the Exciter II Connectors Board.
Compact Flash Card is inserted into connector SATA1, as the operating
system and the game software are saved on this card.
BIOS Memory and NVRAM back-up battery is located on the Exciter II
Motherboard. There are 4 DIP switches as the 4-th of them is used for machine
memory reset.

MEI SC8307 bill validator is supplied separately from the rest
electronics components. Must use the separate power supply unit
which is counted in the equipment.

The Bill Validator JCM UBA-14-SS can be used as well but it has to
support serial interface RS232 and protocol ID-003. In case of using

Test of the keyboard buttons LEDs. If the test is available, the buttons are
colored in one of the 5 colors, described below according to appropriate LEDs

Gray - masked - test disabled
Red - short circuit in LED
Yellow - LED burned out
Green - normal LED operation

If all buttons are displayed in gray, it is necessary to check whether the test of
the keyboard LEDs is disabled.

Touch Screen calibration window.


Three targets and TOUCH HERE! sign appear consequently. The targets
shall be consequently touched by the person, performing the calibration. The sign
disappears when pressed and the coordinates are accepted at release.
After touching the third target press START (Save) button for saving
calibration data and entering test mode.
In test mode each screen touch leads to displaying a cross in the
coordinates, calculated by the machine. If the result is not satisfactory, repeat the
calibration.
You may press TAKE WIN (Cancel Calibration) button at any time to exit

Jackpot Machine
To enter in this menu the coin acceptor has to be enabled in the machine
setup. Otherwise, the menu is not active and it is colored in gray.
The following message appears on the screen:
Coin Acceptor Test: shows its current condition Disable or Enable;
Diverter Set: shows where it is directed in this moment to Hopper or to Drop;
Number of coins accepted: shows number of coins accepted;
Total amount accepted: shows value of coins accepted.
By pressing Button B1 button may be changed the condition of the coin
acceptor: Disable ↔ Enable. This is possible temporarily only during diagnostics.
After exit from diagnostics screen only the settings in the machine setup are
available.
By pressing Button B2 button may be changed the direction of the coin
acceptor: to Hopper ↔ to Drop. The real direction of the coin acceptor is displayed
on the screen after this command.
If the coin acceptor is enabled, the coin acceptation is possible. When a coin is
inserted, number of coins accepted is displayed after a text Number of coins

accepted in this menu. After a text Total amount accepted: the value of coins
accepted is displayed in a format xx.xx [bank code].

NOTE!
The coins accepted in this menu are not accounted in the machine
accounting!

Number of coins paid:
By pressing Button B1 button, a command for payment of 1 token via hopper is
given. By pressing Button B2 button, a command for payment of 10 tokens via
hopper is given. By pressing Button B3 button, a command for payment via hopper
is given and all the tokens are paid out until a hopper empty signal is received.
After the token payment, number of token, paid out to the moment is
displayed after a text Number of coins paid:

The Played Games History contains up to 50 records, as each of them covers

The positions of the stopped reels for a given game are shown at right of the
screen and the following parameters are displayed at left on the screen:

 Currency Code - inserts the bank code of the currency used to be displayed
with the amounts of money both on the game screen and in service functions;
 Player Denominations: - shows the amount of the available denomination.
 Coin/Token Denomination - selects the token value;
 Decimal Point - [Enable, Disable] - defines whether the amounts to be displayed
on the game screen with a decimal point or not. This parameter is not one-time
settable.
 Attendant Add Credit - [Not set, Enable, Disable] - if Disable option is selected,
the Attendant will have no option to enter credit into the machine by key.
 Accounting Denomination - Not set/ from 0.01 to 1000.00 - defines the amount
of SAS Accounting Denomination Unit.
 Credit Field Display - [Not set/ Toggle allowed/ Always in credits/ Always in

Setup of the bill validator 16 channels.


To enter in this menu the bill validator has to be enabled.
 Setup Mode: Not Set/ Auto/ Manual - gives a possibility for automatically
set the channels, according to the appropriate currency channels in the
bill validator. If it is Manual, then the channels are set manually.
NOTE!
The automatically channels set (Auto) concerns JCM and CashCode bill
validators for BGN and EUR currency. This option concerns MEI bill
validator for BGN and EUR currency as well at Firmware (of the bill
validator) Rev.39 and above. It is permitted only prohibit of channels with
existing settings and only at initial machine setup.
For each of the channels can choose whether it is disabled or which nominal
is accepted by it.
 Channel 1: Not Set/ Disabled/ 1.00/ 2.00/ 5.00/… [bank code]
If the channel for tickets acceptation is enabled or disabled.
 Tickets: Not Set/ Disabled/ Enabled - determinates whether the bill
validator can (Enabled) or cannot (Disabled) accept tickets (vouchers).

V.5.6. Limits Setup

SERVICE FUNCTIONS
To enter in this menu, Device Setup and Monetary Settings have to be
done.
The limits can to be changed if the credit is zero.
 Credit Limit: - the maximum amount in money, which may be inserted into
Credit meter. Default value is 0 - no limit.
 Printer Limit: - the maximum amount in money, which may be paid out via a
printer. Can set only if there is a printer. Default value is 0 - that means the
printer cannot use as a payment device.
 Jackpot Limit: - winnings from a game, an external bonus (SAS bonus or CBJS
mystery) or a progressive jackpot, which exceeds this limit, will cause a splash
Jackpot! Call Attendant. Default value is 0 - no limit and then this splash will
not appear.
 Upper Jackpot Limit: - winnings from a game, an external bonus (SAS bonus or
CBJS mystery) or a progressive jackpot, which exceeds this limit, and cannot be
added to the credit. Default value is 0 - no limit. If after Upper Jackpot Limit
setting, Jackpot Limit is changed, Upper Jackpot Limit becomes 0.

appeared on the screen. The save procedure is not completed. The same splash is
appeared if there is at least one parameter with Not Set. The save procedure is not

Wrong Settings! message can be eliminated by pressing one of Button

 Always Handpay Jackpots: Not Set/ Enable/ Disable - determines whether
the winnings from jackpots, legacy and host bonuses will enter the credit.
When it is Enable, each jackpot winning causes Handpay slash appearance
and the winning is not enter the credit, and is paid out by hand. On the splash
the winnings are separate in two components: Jackpot and Game Win. In
Jackpot the total amount of the above winnings is written. In Game Win - the
wins from the paytable. In both components the amounts are in money with the
bank code.
Cat 4 Cash Settings
The following parameters are shown on the left of the screen:
 Jackpot Group – inserts a number from 1 to 65 535. This parameter is sent to
the server as “Group ID”.
 Cat 4 Cash Variant – Not Set/ 1. This parameter is sent to the server as
„Progressive Type ID”. Determines the following parameters:

To fill the hopper with tokens, follow the procedure, described below:
1. Activate any of the following keys: Cashier, Admin or Owner.
Service Functions screen will appear on the display;
2. From Service menu select Hopper Fill option.
Screen for service hopper filling with tokens will appear.
3. Enter the number of tokens to be filled into the hopper.
The Service Fill Amount parameter is used by the program to define the
current amount of tokens in the hopper.
Up to 9999 tokens may be filled.
4. Open the main door.
5. Fill the hopper with tokens.
6. Close the main door.
7. Exit Service Functions.
By pressing a START button edit this field.
SERVICE FUNCTIONS

To return back to the Main Menu, press a TAKE WIN button.


V.7.2. Authorization

The authorization mode is used for activation, check or reactivation of


machine operation time. This mode may be entered either manually from Service
Functions or automatically in case of different situations, in which the program
cannot make independent decision. Such situations are, for example, change of
game Compact Flash, expiry of operation period set (Time left:), etc.

 Base Code and remaining operation time are displayed on the screen
If there is operation time left and you enter this screen by your own initiative,
there is Exit button - TAKE WIN and may return back to the main menu. The Cash
field shows the current credit value. The value of the current winning may be
including in this value.
Otherwise, it is necessary to phone to the EGT Service and tell the operator
your Base Code. The operator will give you your activation code in reply, which
code shall be entered into Enter Code field. By pressing a Button B1 button may
move the marker left to right and by pressing a Button B2 button may change the
value of the marking number. To save the new code, press a START button.
After three unsuccessful attempts to insert the right code the machine will be
restarted. The machine has to be restarted if the activate code is not inserted up to
1 hour.
After restart the Base Code will be changed.

replace F1 or F2 fuses. For this purpose the machine power plug must be
unplugged from the power mains socket! The new fuses must be with the same
