once again congratulations to batch of MNHS 2019 compliters. You should be

very, proud of yourselves for accomplishing this goal. Well done. I know you
must all be excited for the next level of your basic education were you well be
going to choose your tract and strand as a senior.

To the families of this batch of completers, congratulations to you, and you should
know that your support through this process made an enormous impact. I'm sure
you're very proud of these students as they close this portion of their lives and
prepare for their next steps to fulfil their dreams.

Moving-Up, is one of those steps in life that defines a coming of age - the ending
of one era of life, This paves the way for their entry to Senior High School that
covers the last two years of the K to 12 program that includes Grades 11 and
12. As a student or the one being shown the ropes, and moving on to a new stage
in which you are a leader, a doer and an achiever in the wider world. I'm sure many
of you have firm plans and have a good idea of what's coming next, some of you
have a pretty good idea of what you want to do next, a dream and a lot of hope to
get you there, and some of you are just amazed that you got to this point at all!
Well the coming times will be exciting.

ang may gusto nito?i am thinking if this 50 peso bill if I trow it away? Justlike
this.just like that. So yun! The point is walang taong tulog ang makukuha ang

Many people will have the will to reach for their dream, but only if you’re willing
to do what it takes to make it. So listen, your willingness to succeed is more
important than your will to make it! Boom! Kung English hipos lng no.

Life will threw ramdom things at you some are good some are bad, if you’re not
around how can you possibly catch any of them, success happened when your
around, and people who are present are the only one who get the present! And
sometimes life will throw trash at you! But it’s not about what life throws at you,
its about how you respond to what life throws at you. and if life throw some trash
at you catch it then clean up, and prepare yourself to catch another stuffs, maybe
this time its not that trash you will catch anymore. And by the way life will never
be run out of stuffs throwing at you so you should not stop trying to catch the next
one.

Normally commencement speaker their job is to give their advice to the younger
generation,

It's been 11 years since I graduated from high school and things have changed just
a bit since then..

It was still fresh as I have remembered my high school graduation, I am just like
you setting on that chair thinking what will be happened next after my graduation
because there is no senior high during my time, only one thing comes into my
mind and is “yes makapahuway gd man ko ba”, I had no any plans to go to
college that time all I am thingking is the present, and now Ican do whatever I
But ang amok o na nga mindset is ginhinulsulan ko gid as I face the reality of life

This institution was first opened to accept enroller on June 4th,2004, and me as a
part of sang newly establish nga high school, I remembered we were 62 students
on our first year, with 3 para teacher nga city paid volunteer nga kisa delayed pa
is only 76! Yes hou 76 lng gid ako with 3 red marks pa sa akon nga report card,
nila sa akon as a person is priceless kag kun mabalik ako pilion ko man japon ang
MNHS nga sang una natawag nga Aguisan NHS-Annexed class Mambagaton.

My high school experience is a little bit tough, I don’t know hate gid ko bala sang

me as typical nga salawayon gid kg normal na lng na sa akon yah, is ginhimuan

maistra pra hapos lng magsaway guro, and that time dako gid ang pagbago ko as a
learner, learned to focus and listen to my teacher, I started to study and be excited
ngaa kuno wala na ko line of 7 sa card, kag my line of na, hahaha, and that time
for the first time nagjoin ko sa contest contest sa school nga wla ko pa nakaagi
agayan sang elementary days, I was hesitant at first pero ginamotivate gid ko sang
this situation dosent happened once but a lot of time during gid my program sa
situation indi rason nga magpawala ako sa akon patuon may mga time nga from
first year ako nagakadala man ako sa mga top student sa klasi, but asta lang sa third
year kay sang fourth year na ako nagsugod na ako barkada ka bisyo, like
manigarilyokag maginum and that the cause sang pagpawala ko sa pagtuon,
I know during that time kaugalingon
man ako pangabudlay nga wla man japon pulos kay wla man sang ginikanan ko

Now let us go to the next chapter of my life during sang ginatawag ko nga matahay
nga pagtambay, but this time everything doesn’t go of what I have expected ang
hambal nga patawhay lang sa balay, indi gali pwede mapatawhay lang, I need to
earn maoney for myself and I started to word any available jobs in the community,
first I work as a construction worker, like road concreting and constructing
concrete building, I also work as waiter, painter, and even as enumerator for PSA
mageskwela and go for college, kay ngaa ano bla kabudlay nga wla sang
So I had decided nga
dapat maiskwela gid ako no matter what happened, pero sa time nga posigido na
ako maiskwela indi pa gid pwede kay during that time my sister is already in
college kag indi pa pwede nga magdungan kme kay indi kaya sang parents namon,
so I waited 1 year pa pero during that time nangita ako ubra para magsugod ako sa
college indi na mabudlayan ang parents ko,

Life doesn't usually follow the plans you lay out for yourself. You will all
experience the highs and lows of life, the difficult and the easy and unfortunately,
there may sometimes be times of too many difficulties and just not enough smooth
sailing. Your true success will be defined by how you handle both of these times.

On my college career, I kept the fire burning I took a BSED SOCIAL SCIENCE in
WVSU-ECHC, I took this program not by choice but by chance because I think
this is the only program that suited my knowledge and capabilities, to tell you
frankly I had never seen myself to be a teacher standing in front of different
students with different background. . It is like facing an army with different guns
and ammunition that you doesn’t know how to counter them, but the challenge is
accepted , and YES! I want to finish this for the betterment of my future, a while
ago I asked you if you believe in destiny? My destiny is to serve MNHS with full
dedication to impart my knowledge and inspire my students and to prepare them
for future.

As Henry Ford said “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time
more intelligently.” We all fail on every aspect of our life but it doesn’t stop there,
sometimes we need to experience struggle in life for us to strive harder and to
dream bigger. I know that some of you experience the hardship of giving your
attention focus to your education and study, because of different reason, others said
they were tire studying, but have you give all your best, do you try harder? dO you
learn from your mistakes? One failing grade doesn’t define your future? And one
piece of paper cannot dictate what you will be. I remember

before you complain try to think of this students, have you ever asked your parent
if they were tired working just to sustain your needs, Have you ever touches your
parents hands that works almost entire of the day, have ever look into their faces
that full of stress and wrinkle, your parents doesn’t even complain of being tired
because they believe in you and what you capable of, remember my their
completers your life lies into your hand you are the author of your story, you can
be what you wanted to be, don’t aim just for your grade, aim to learn and to be
matured enough, don’t compare yourself to other and don’t compete with your
fellow student because education is not a competition rather a contest, Education
prepares you to be more competent and to enhance you to become successful
someday, and how you will be successful if doesn’t even go to school?

As you go and take on new challenges, to take the journey as a senior, some may
strive even harder and push their self to graduate with flying colours as a senior
and others may settle for less, but that's OK. The important thing is you have
already taken the initial steps needed to build a more promising future. Every class
you've taken, every exam and quizzes, every essay written and every certification
you've earned, they have all been preparing you to adapt to change and challenges.
- I know those were tough! But as you know, it's a tough world out there- nothing
will be handed to you - you have to earn it - and it will mean more to you because
you will earn it.

To give you an example of how perseverance can pay off, let's me talk about my
idol and an icon in basketball, Mr. Michael Jordan, on his entire carrer as high
school player and a an NBA legend Jordan doesn’t interred a basketball court
always with a winning game, he even missed more than 9,000 shots in her entire
career. And have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions he have been entrusted
to take the game winning shot, and missed. He have failed over and over and over
again in his life. but he doesn’t stop and get frustrated, instead! he strive even
harder and harder, And that is why he succeed.”

You have taken a key step towards your successful future and also the betterment
of your family and your community. You've worked hard, spending months
learning new skill sets. Our complex and technical world today requires education
and skills that were not needed in the past. Ultimately - your well educated
generation will benefit us all in the future.
Let me leave you with this thought from Ralph Waldo Emerson. “Do not follow
where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.”
You're now armed with one of the most important tools needed to forge your path
ahead. It's not the certificate itself that counts - it's about what you've learned along
the way and what you do with the education you've gotten in your journey to
completion today. Your future is in your hands - no one else's. Seize this
opportunity.
Best of luck in all your future endeavors.
