Protecting Yourself from Malware,
Viruses, Scammers and Identity Theft
Cyber security has become increasingly important in this very
digital time. It may seem like nothing, but protecting such
information as your full name, address, age, email address, and
telephone number is incredibly important. Knowing how to
recognize and protect oneself from the following online threats is
crucial.

PHISHING
Phishing is when scam artists send
fake text, email, or pop-up messages
to get people to share their personal
and financial information. Criminals
use the information to commit

CLICKJACKING
ClickJacking is when a site has a
hidden, malicious link hidden
underneath what you might think is a
normal clickable link. This is used to
trick people into giving away private
information.

VIRUSES
