Subject: Application for the position of Associate at Parthenon-EY.

I am Saahil Madan, a third-year student at Shri Ram College of Commerce, Interested in the
Associate Consultant position at EY-Parthenon. I have an avid interest in strategic consulting, and
after the Pre-Placement Talk at Lady Shri Ram College for Women with Mr. Amitabh and team, has
further inspired me to seek this position. I believe this opportunity will provide me with unparalleled
experience in business consulting.

My course in Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce have provided me
with analytical skills which I will apply to diverse business scenarios. My three years of experience in
The Sports Committee, Department of Physical Education, SRCC from being just a Junior Executive
Member in first year to now being the highest official post holder, The Secretary of The Committee
in my graduating year, honed my ability to develop my potential to excel in different fields like
Marketing, Finance and many more, as well as how to effectively collaborate with a team.

I enjoy working with teams and hold several leadership positions within my various extracurricular
activities. I am currently the Captain of the Hockey team of SRCC and also a became a National
Level Hockey Player in the year 2016-17 along with managing my studies at the same time and
scoring 85.4% in my class 12th CBSE Board Examinations complimented with being English subject
topper in school.

These skills were further sharpened at my internship with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), a
business association in India. During my tenure, I worked in the Finance and Accounts Department,
it helped me to acquire knowledge about how TDS reconciliation is done, Invoices are raised and
Utilisation Certificate is drafted along with many other things. Working with a team consisting of top
management officials significantly improved my interpersonal skills and taught me to work in diverse
teams with different work backgrounds.

This combination of Sports and my will to study even harder gave me exceptional time management
and multi-tasking skills honing with my increased ability to handle stressful situations without
succumbing to pressure.

Overall, the skills developed over the years have made me a passionate and ambitious individual,
setting and achieving targets in every field. The firm’s motto of ‘Smart, Nice and Driven’ People has
been imbibed in me through my experience at corporate and non-profit organisations and I am
extremely keen on joining a group of highly motivated individuals to come together to enable our
clients across various domains to grow and impact the world.
