Ṛṣyādi nyāsaḥ ऋष्यादि न्यासः

अस्य श्री िदिणकाली महामन्त्रस्य। भैरव ऋद ः। उष्णिक् छन्दः। िदिणकादलका िे वता॥
asya śrī dakṣiṇakālī mahāmantrasya | bhairava ṛṣiḥ । (open the right
palm and touch the top of the forehead | uṣṇik chandaḥ (right palm on
the mouth) । dakṣiṇakālikā devatā || (right palm on the heart chakra)
क्ीीं बीजम्। हीं शष्णतः। क्ीीं कीलकम्॥
krīṁ bījam | hūṁ śaktiḥ | krīṁ kīlakam ||
(bījaṁ - touch right shoulder with right hand; śaktiḥ - touch left
shoulder with right hand; kīlakam – touch centre of the chest. Only
tip of the fingers to be used.)
श्री िदिणकादल िे वी िशश न भा ण दसद्ध्यर्थे श्री िदिणकाली महा मन्त्र जपे दवदनयोगः॥

mantra jape viniyogaḥ || (open both the palms and run them over all
parts of the body; from head to feet)
2. Karanyāsaḥ करन्यासः
क्ाीं - अङ्गुष्ठाभ्याम् नमः। krāṁ- aṅguṣṭhābhyām namaḥ| (use both the
index fingers and run them on both the thumbs)
क्ीीं - तजश नीभ्याीं नमः। krīṁ - tarjanībhyāṁ namaḥ | (use both the thumbs
and run them on both the index fingers)
क्रीं - मध्यमाभ्याीं नमः । krūṁ - madhyamābhyāṁ namaḥ| (both the thumbs
on the middle fingers)
क्ैं - अनादमकाभ्याीं नमः। kraiṁ - anāmikābhyāṁ namaḥ| (both the thumbs
on the ring fingers)
क्रीं - कदनदष्ठकाभ्याीं नमः। krauṁ- kaniṣṭhīkābhyāṁ namaḥ| (both the
thumbs on the little fingers)
क्ः - करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्याीं नमः। kraḥ - karatalakarapṛṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ|
(open both the palms; run the opened palms of the right hand on the
front and back sides of the left palm and repeat the same for the
other palm)
3. Hrdayādi nyāsaḥ ह्र्ियादि न्यासः
क्ाीं - ह्र्ियाय नमः। krāṁ - hrdayāya namaḥ| (open index, middle and ring
fingers of the right hand and place them on the heart chakra)
क्ीीं - दशरसे स्वाहा। krīṁ - śirase svāhā| (open middle and ring fingers of
the right hand and touch the top of the forehead)
क्रीं - दशखायै व ट् । krūṁ - śikhāyai vaṣaṭ| (open the right thumb and touch
the back of the head. This is the point where tuft is kept)
क्ैं - कवचाय हीं । kraiṁ - kavacāya huṁ| (cross both the hands and run
the fully opened palms from shoulders to finger tips)
क्रीं - नेत्रत्रयाय वर ट् । krauṁ - netratrayāya vauṣaṭ| (open the index,
middle and ring fingers of the right hand; touch both the eyes using
index and ring fingers and touch the point between the two eyebrows
(ājñā cakra) with the middle finger.
क्ः - अस्त्राय फट् ॥ kraḥ - astrāya phaṭ|| (open up the left palm and strike
it three times with index and middle fingers of the right hand)
भरभुशवस्सुवरोदमदत दिग्बन्धः॥ bhūrbhuvassuvaromiti digbandhaḥ|| (by using
right hand thumb and middle fingers make rattle clockwise around the
head)

DAKṢIṆAKĀLĪ ŚĀPAVIMOCANA MANTRA

कालीीं करचं परीं नाम िदिणे िदिणे कादलके तता ।वदशष्ठ मन्त्रीं प्रोच्च्यार्थश मोचय ियमीश्वरर
कालीीं करचं परे दनरमेशास्याश्चापहाररणी ॥कालीीं भीमीं ठटीं भद्रकाली भीमीं दशवस्यदह
शापीं मोचय युग्मापो दवध्येयीं चापहाररणी ॥

kālīṁ kūrcaṁ paraṁ nāma dakṣiṇe dakṣiṇe kālike tatā ।

vaśiṣṭha mantraṁ proccyārtha mocaya dayamīśvari
kālīṁ kūrcaṁ pare nirameśāsyāścāpahāriṇī ॥
kālīṁ bhīmaṁ ṭhaṭaṁ bhadrakālī bhīmaṁ śivasyahi
śāpaṁ mocaya yugmāpo vidhyeyaṁ cāpahāriṇī ॥
4. Dhyānam ध्यानम्
सद्यदशछन्नदशरः कृपाणमभयीं हस्तैवशरीं दबभ्रतीीं घोरास्याीं दशरसाीं स्रजा मुरुदचरामुन्मुत
केशावदलम्।
सृक्कासृक्प्रवहाीं शमशानदनलयाीं श्रुत्ोः शवालींकृदतीं श्यामाङ्ीीं कृतमेखलाीं शवकरै िे वीीं भजे
कादलकाम्॥

sadyaśichannaśiraḥ kṛpāṇamabhayaṁ hastairvaraṁ bibhratīṁ

ghorāsyāṁ śirasāṁ srajā murucirāmunmukta keśāvalim |
sṛkkāsṛkpravahāṁ śamaśānanilayāṁ śrutyoḥ śavālaṁkṛtiṁ śyāmāṅgīṁ
kṛtamekhalāṁ śavakarairdevīṁ bhaje kālikām ||

(Meaning: Kāli Devi holds in Her lower left hand, a freshly severed
head; with Her upper hand She shows abhaya mudra (removal of fear).
She shows with Her lower left hand, varada mudra (granting boons);
in the upper right hand, She holds a sword. She is wearing a garland
of human skulls and Her hair is untidy. From Her lips, blood is oozing
out. She dwells in crematoriums. Her ears have two infant corpses as
ear studs. She is dark in complexion. She wears a girdle made up of
hands of corpses.)
5. Pañcapūjā पञ्चपरजा
लीं - पृदर्थव्याष्णिकायै गन्धीं समपशयादम।
हीं - आकाशाष्णिकायै पुष्ैः - परजयादम।
यीं - वाय्वाष्णिकायै धरपमाघ्रापयादम।
रीं - अग्न्याष्णिकायै िीपीं िशशयादम।
वीं - अमृताष्णिकायै अमृतीं महानैवेद्यीं दनवेियादम।
सीं - सवाश ष्णिकायै सवोपचार परजाम् समपशयादम॥

the palms and join together as if offering something to Her)

6. श्री िदिणकाली महा मन्त्रः॥ Śrī Dakṣiṇakālī Mahā Mantraḥ ||

ॐ क्ीीं क्ीीं क्ीीं ह्रीीं ह्रीीं हीं हीं िदिणे कादलके क्ीीं क्ीीं क्ीीं ह्रीीं ह्रीीं हीं हीं स्वाहा॥
om krīṁ krīṁ krīṁ hrīṁ hrīṁ hūṁ hūṁ dakṣiṇe kālike krīṁ krīṁ krīṁ
hrīṁ hrīṁ hūṁ hūṁ svāhā ||

(Explanation for this mantra: There are three krīṁ-s, which

represent creation, sustenance and dissolution. After this, there are
two hrīṁ-s, which represent process of creation and process of
sustenance. Then there are two hūṁ-s, which provide knowledge
(towards emancipation). Name of the Devi mentioned here ensures
closeness to Devi. Name of the Devi is encased (sampuṭīkaraṇa) with
these bījākṣara-s, which makes this mantra powerful.)
7. Dhyānam ध्यानम्
मद्यदशछन्नदशरः कृपाणमभयीं हस्तैवशरीं दबभ्रतीीं घोरास्याीं दशरसाीं स्रजा मुरुदचरामुन्मुत
केशावदलम्।
सृक्कासृक्प्रवहाीं शमशानदनलयाीं श्रुत्ोः शवालींकृदतीं श्यामाङ्ीीं कृतमेखलाीं शवकरै िे वीीं भजे
कादलकाम्॥

siddhirbhavatu me devi tvatprasādānmayi stirā||

गुह्यादत गुह्य गोप्त्री त्वीं गृहाणास्मत् -कृतीं जपम्।

दसष्णिभशवतु मे िे दव त्वत्प्रसािान्मदय ष्णस्तरा॥

(Meaning: You sustain the secret of all secrets. Please accept this
japa performed by me and bestow Your perpetual Grace on me.)
Mahākālasaṁhitā - kāmakalākālīkhaṇḍaḥ --
Trilokyamohanakavaca upadeśaḥ

महाकालसंहहता – कामकलाकालीखण्डः -- त्रैलोक्यमोहनकवच उपदे शः

(As told by Mahākālā to Devi in Mahākālasaṁhitā)

{Number of recitations and benefits as prescribed in

Mahākālasaṁhitā: single recitation - all sins are destroyed; three
times – long life; 100 times – all types of siddhis (superhuman
powers); 1000 times – becomes messenger of Śiva; 10,000 times –
one becomes Śiva. This mantra is capable of providing everything
that is desired. It protects from extreme miseries, cures acute
ailments, gives strong body, protects against enemies, protects from
premature and unnatural deaths. It destroys all accrued sins. It is
also capable of providing kingdom (richness). Mantra part of the
kavaca consists of twenty verses, all in couplets, except the last one.
There are thirty four Śakti-s (goddesses) mentioned in this mantra
and they protect thirty four bodily parts. The mantra becomes
extremely powerful because of the usage of multiple bīja-s. It is like
Durgāsaptaśatī - pūrvabhāgaḥ (first chapter) - kavacam, but
trailokayamohana rahasya kavaca vastly differs from Durgāsaptaśatī
mainly because of the multiple and powerful bīja-s. To cap it all, this
was told by Mahākālā to Devi.}

TRILOKYAMOHANAKAVACAḤ - दत्रलोक्यमोहनकवचः

अस्य श्री त्रैलोकयमोहन रहस्य कवचस्य ।

asya śrī trailokayamohana rahasya kavacasya ।

दत्रपुरारर ऋद ः - दवराट् छन्दः - भगवदत कामकलाकाली िे वता ।

sarvasandhiṣu sarvāṅgaṁ guhyakālī sadāvatu |

om phreṁ siddhviṁ hskhaphreṁ hsaphreṁ khphreṁ karāli khphreṁ

रिताि् घोरचामुण्डा तु कले वरीं वहिमलवरयरीं।

अव्यात् सिा भद्रकाली प्राणानेकािशे ष्णियान् ॥ १७

rakṣatād ghoracāmuṇḍā tu kalevaraṁ vahakṣamalavarayūṁ |

avyāt sadā bhadrakālī prāṇānekādaśendriyān || (17)

ह्रीीं श्रीीं ॐ ख्फ्फ्रें ह्फख्फ्फ्रें हिम्लब्रयरीं
