Reporting / Counseling information for admission in

B. Tech. II year: Lateral Entry (2019-20 session)

Admissions in different branches (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication
Engineering, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information
Technology), in the B. Tech. II year: Lateral Entry, in this university, will be done through counseling, based
on the merit of University entrance exam- 2019. Only those candidates, who appeared in the entrance test,
may attend for reporting/counseling. At the time of Reporting, candidate has to give his/her preference of
branch choice.

Reporting and verification of the documents for counseling to the admissions in these courses is scheduled
to be held during August 05 - August 07, 2019 (on each working day between 10.30 to 15.00 hrs), and
subsequently, based on the University entrance exams- 2019 merit (after Reporting, updated with the
prescribed weightage, if any) counseling will be held online, and candidates will be allotted seats according
to their opted preferences of the branch(es). With following requisites, candidate has to report at the
Reporting venue, on the scheduled date(s) and time, failing which he/she will further not be permitted to
attend Reporting/counseling. Reporting will be held as per the following schedule:-

 Reporting venue for verification of the documents : University Science Instrumentation

Centre (USIC), Chauras campus of the university.

 Reporting date and time: August 05 - August 07, 2019

(on each working day between 10.30 to 15.00 hrs).

Counseling/ seat allotment will be held online, and candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit
and opted preferences of the branch(es).

For the allotted seat status and further admission related directions candidates are advised to visit the
university web site www.hnbgu.ac.in

Candidate is advised to bring the following original documents/ testimonials for verification, at the time of
reporting:-

1. High School pass marks sheet and Certificate as a proof of date of birth,
2. B.Sc./Diploma Pass marks sheet and Certificate,
3. NCC/NSS/Sports/Extra Curricular Certificates (if claiming for weightage),
4. Category Certificates for SC/ST/OBC*/Defense Personnel or dependant/ PH/FF dependant,
issued by competent authority. (*OBC category certificate should be issued after March 31, 2018.
Only the OBC castes included in the Central Lists of OBCs, as modified from time to time and
determined by the Central Government on the advice of NCBC, will be entertained).

Please note that this letter is only for attending Reporting for verification of documents for further online
counseling/ seat allotment and does not guarantee admission. Admission of any candidate will be subject to
the availability of the seat(s) in the respective category/ branch, and also fulfillment of the eligibility
criterion by the candidate for the course.

University does not guarantee to provide hostel accommodation to all the students admitted to various
courses. No student admitted to these courses can claim for the hostel accommodation as his/ her right,
however, seats in the hostel(s) is allotted on availability. If hostel accommodation is allotted, student has to
pay the hostel fee and other hostel charges separately, in addition to the course fee.
