RE: Maintenance Request

Dear: Ms. name,

I have asked you through several text messages to fix the leaky kitchen, leaky bedroom roof, the
broken window in the living room, recurrent toilet clog problem, and the worsening rodent
infestation in the house. You promised to make the necessary repairs. However, up until today
nothing was acted upon.

The damage in the house has been causing me great inconvenience. There are times, especially
when it is heavily raining that I needed to stay at my friend’s place or book a hotel room just to be
able to fully and comfortably enjoy my time to rest. I have faithfully paid my previous rental fees
despite the existence of said damages. However, since no proper response was made, I am going
to make the repairs myself and reimburse the expenses out of the monthly rentals. Accordingly, I
will not pay rent until the repairs are completed.
