Daily Dose of Ginger May Act as Pain Reliever

According to the study that is published in the journal of pain, taking daily dose of ginger
can reduce the pain the muscle pain caused by the exercises, they conducted an
experiment with 75 healthy adult participants that is doing exercise for eleven days and
the result showed that the raw and heated ginger reduce the muscle pain over twenty-
five to twenty-three percent.

Using ginger as a remedy for such illness like colds and upset stomach is used over
centuries but according to the research from University of Georgia that the ginger is not
only for those illnesses that is stated but it also reduces muscle pain caused by exercises.
Patrick O'Connor, a professor in the College of Education's department of kinesiology
believes that by heating the gingr like cooking it might increase the effect of the pain
relieving. He conducted two studies using raw and heat-treated ginger
supplementation. There were thirty-four to forty volunteers who participate in the
studies, The studies showed that daily ginger supplementation reduced the exercise-
induced pain by 25 percent, and the effect was not enhanced by heat-treating the
ginger.
