3. Preparing for a Customs Audit/ Difference Between BIR and BOC Audits
Speaker: Atty Agaton Teodoro Uvero
Chairman, Asia Customs & Trade; Former Bureau of Customs Deputy Commissioner for Assessment and
Operations Coordinating Group
- Audit issues and risk areas: What are the specific compliance issues involved? Conduct of compliance
assessments: What are the records subject to customs audit? How will customs conduct the audit? How
are customs audits related to BIR audits on VAT declarations on importations?
