SITE DESCRIPTION

The site is located at a Residential Area in Barangay Curva, in the Municipality of

Bongabon in Nueva Ecija. The actual lot is rightfully owned by the family of the researcher
(Alincastre Family). The lot is approximately an area of 286 square meters, and is composed by
the following bearings: beginning at first point, being S. 49° 09’ E., 12.43m. To 2nd point; thence
S. 50° 23’ W., 12.17m. To the 3rd point; thence N. 49° 09’ W., 22.86m. To the 4 th point; thence
N. 40° 51’ E., 12.00m. To the 5th point; thence S. 49° 08’ E., 12.44m, to the point of the beginning.
The terrain is relatively flat, there is no rock formations and bodies of water nearby the
site. The site is on “Low Flood Susceptibility Area”. Areas likely to experience of less than 0.5m
and/or flood duration of less than one day The location sits on a Very Low Risk area least likely
to be affected by high intensity earthquakes. Consequently, the risk of liquefaction, which is
closely associated with earthquakes and loosely packed soils and saturated sediments, is very
minimal in Barangay Curva.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
The researcher used Contemporary Architecture in his design, it is also to conform to the
Building Characters around the site that is widely used. The researcher used Contemporary
Architecture to showcase his devotion to connect indoors and outdoors, by using earth colors,
and nature elements through wall finishes and exterior wall claddings such as wood cladding
and exterior decorative stones. The dominant material used is reinforced concrete, and the
researcher associated it with steel railings, and various usage of glass through doors, windows
and railings.
The house have three floors. The ground floor has most of the “public areas” such as a
carport, a bunch of landscapes on the front, the terraces, a living area, a recreational area, a
kitchen, a dining area, a storage room, a common toilet and bath, a laundry room, and a small
garden at the back. On the second floor have the “private areas” such as the master bedroom
with its own toilet and bath and an office, two common bedrooms, and an entertainment area
where we can watch movies, play video games, and many more. The third floor, is a wide roof
deck where we can relax and do some recreational activities, the third floor also holds a
penthouse that has its own, bedroom, living area, kitchen, and toilet and bath.
The house will be a home for my family, the house have all the spaces, amenities, utilities
that a family can ever have, and they are enough for us. A carport and a sufficient storage room
for my father, a wide bedroom for my parents specially for my mother, and an integrated office
for their future businesses, a sufficient and cozy bedrooms for my two brothers, my own space
with a penthouse, and an entertainment room for the whole family. Enough to continue life, live
in peace and love, and to continue to grow, to nurture, and protect each other.
