1. I was part of SGL to RGL feed process, In this process SGL sends account balance
level feeds to RGL where in SGL Chart of Accounts get mapped to RGL COA and the
balances are sent to RGL.
This is complex process where the mapping between source and target COA happens
through various PL/SQL code .
Once the file is sent to RGL it consumes the balances and sends the back feed to SGL for
reconciliation.
I did various design level and code level enhancements using PL/SQL,ODI ,OWB, and
performance tuning using Oracle 11g/R2 in this process which has helped reduce considerably
the number of reconciliation breaks and considerable improved performance of various
processes.

3) BROKRECS/ My role in this project was to design the data model(using Erwin) and develop a reconciliation
process for trades, positions and cash between the Exchanges (IMAREX, EEX, IDEX) and the
NEWEDGE/ LONDON/
Broker (NEWEDGE) using Oracle 11g PL/SQL , SQL Loader/Shell Scripting. Trades, positions
MARCH 2011 – SEP 2011 and cash files (in XML and csv format) from various exchanges are available at the end of the
day. I had developed a process to download, transform (using SSIS and SQL Loader) and load
last business day data into existing system called Brokrecs. I had designed the mapping,
staging and main tables and written the PL/SQL procs to do the reconciliation for high volume
data.

4) CALYON BANK Calyon Bank uses tool called Intellimatch is a recon system for Back office and Front Office
reconciliation. I was in London at the client Credit Agricole for generating of flat files for

Intellimatch. I wrote the Unix scripts which called the SQLLDR command and PL/SQL procs for
NOVEMBER, 2010 - loading the data from various flat files and transformation.
FEBRUARY, 2011 My role in this project was to understand the requirements and create UNIX scripts to load data
from various flat files and to do the PL/SQL transformations to finally generate a file that could
be used for reconciliation by Intellimatch. I also helped my team members on issues of SQL or
UNIX scripts.

5)ACTIMIZE/BANK OF Actimize is a tool that works with all kind of databases like Sybase, SQL server, DB2, Oracle.
The requirement in this project was to move from SQL Server and Sybase to Oracle

I was involved in extensive database migration and transformation process for Bank of
2010
America and Morgan Stanley by Actimize itself.
Source system was in SQL Server and Sybase and the target schema was in Oracle 10g I
used SQL Loader, BCP for both batch and Unix scripts written to accomplish ETL tasks.
I used power designer to prepare the data model .I used both T-SQL and PL/SQL and SQL
Loader control files to create transformation process. And automated the whole migration
process using batch and Unix scripts.

I also created the Design Document and Implemented the TUNING project. This was an
Actimize project related to scroing logic used in Actimize to detect frauds. The client wanted
Actimize to do the scoring rather than doing it itself. For this the data needed to be migrated
from the client databases to the Actimize servers and the sensitive data had to be scrambled.
The task was to scramble and migrate the data from client location to Actimize databases so
that the scoring logic can be implemented by the Actimize without compromising with the
security. I created the various XML using PL/SQL procedures which were used during the
generation of the flat files. These XML contained the columns and tables from the database
which need to be scrambled before generating flat files. The flat files were then transfered from
the client servers to the Actimize servers using SFTP and then loaded to the Oracle database
using UNIX scripts.

6) PEARSON PEPMS stands for Pearson Education Paper Management System.PEPMS are used by paper
management group to effectively forecast and plan paper requirements at various vendor

My role was primarily of a database (Oracle 10g and SYBASE) developer and designer in this
project. Initially he was involved in requirements phase to understand the requirements and
create the design document. During development phase my responsibilities involved
preparing and creation of UTCs and development of various database objects like Stored
procedures, Triggers, tables, indexes and their optimization. I was also responsible for
mentoring the new developers and testers. I also created all the database and Unix
deployment scripts. During the deployment phase he went to client site for deployment and
UAT.
7)PEARSON EDUCATION CES (Cost Estimation System) is an existing application used by Pearson Education to
maintain the various aspects of book manufacturing process and is the heart of all processes.

9)LEXUS NEXUS Elsevier UK PEAK was a data migration project which aims to provide fast and quality data
migration among systems. Data from existing system (SMART) running in SQL Server was to

be moved to other systems (Klopotek) in Oracle. Hence all the external systems interacting
with SMART would then be interacting with new system Klopotek, and a result of this all the
existing functionality of SMART is migrated to new system. This project uses the latest ETL
tool like SQL Server Integration Services with SQL Server 2005 to migrate clean and effective
data to the new systems.
I worked as developer in this project. It was a data migration project and my task involved
mainly creation of data migration tables and procedures and migrating data through SSIS
Packages. The procedures and triggers created were mainly for data migration task which
were called through various data loading SSIS packages. These SSIS packages were then
scheduled to load data into Klopotek system in Oracle 10g from various data sources like
Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server 2000, xls, MS Access, flat files. Outbound objects were mainly
created in Sybase and SQL Server and inbound procedures were created in Oracle. my task
involved creation and optimization of these outbound and inbound database objects and
creation of new SSIS packages and migration of existing DTS packages in VS 2005.

10)PEARSON EDUCATION GCT (Global Calculation Tool) was a powerful tool that combines PO (Purchase Order) volume
data collected in the Global Data Mart with key figures from the VAM (Vendor Analysis and
JANUARY, 2007 -
Maintenance) pricing database. This tool simplified and automated the process of supplier
JANUARY, 2008 scale pricing, and made it globally available to all production personnel on a server. Pearson
greatly benefited from a central, transparent, accessible, and timely method of comparing
supplier scale pricing. Earlier scales were entered into the Vendor Analysis and Maintenance
(VAM) scale database and were compared on a personal computer. This project loaded the
scales data into a Business Warehouse Repository, where it can be analyzed with the title
spec and PO data.
My role was that of a database design as well as development and it also included
optimization, testing and implementation of various database objects in Sybase and creation of
various UNIX feeds. During the development process I had to understand the complex pricing
process implemented by Pearson and create of highly optimized pricing plans. I designed
tables, procedures and triggers and indexes for creation of best optimized pricing plans
according to various vendor pricing scales. I also created various UNIX scripts to load the
vendor scales into the system required for creation of the pricing plans. I was also involved in
mentoring fresher and guide him in database development and project understanding.
11)PEARSON EDUCATION Pearson Education America is a Book Publication House which uses the automated system
called Darwin for tracking and controlling all its day to day activities of in-house book publishing

from Scheduling of Requisitions to shipping finally uploading the costing information to SAP.
DECEMBER, 2007 Data of all the vendors and ISBN’s is fed through various BCP feeds and DTS packages.
Darwin also uses complex reports in Crystal Format for providing all kind if information to the
user. Darwin is based upon Client Server architecture and is basically a Database oriented
software. With most of the things controlled at the backend only, it basically follows the MVC
model. Darwin uses Visual Basic for front end and SQL Server 2000 as back end. Darwin is
supported only on Windows (NT / 2000) platform. It has typical Client server architecture and is
fairly modular in its design and architecture.
In this project I was involved in development phase and then in the maintenance and support
activities. During the development phase he worked exclusively in SQL Server 2000 database
and created triggers, procedures, tables and indexes and also did VB and ASP coding for
various frontend modules. I also created DTS packages required for loading data into the
system. During the support phase I was involved in various support activities like daily
resolution of the tickets raised by the client against the various issues encountered in the

13)K AND R INV. PRIVATE SBAS (Share Broker Accounting Systems) is a desktop application developed in VB.Net and
SQL Server 2000. This software dealt with handling the day to day transactions of broker or

their clients. This software downloaded various transaction files of the users from various
AUGUST, 2005 - stations (NSE, BSE) against the client id from the respective servers and was used to calculate
DECEMBER, 2006 various calculations related to brokerage, STT, Service Tax and finally net profit and loss for
the day. User could see various reports on crystal reports.
In this project I worked as a VB.Net developer and also created various SQL Server stored
procedures and embedded crystal reports. I developed many modules in VB.Net and created
embedded crystal reports showing the daily nettings to the users. I created customized VB.Net
grids in which user could do various transaction entries as per their convenience. I also created
various printing modules for the generation and serialization of bills in XML form and printing
these bills in customized form. I created the setup for the application for deployment on
windows environment.
