Subject: Progress Report on Tania Dee’s Murder Case

Authority: Tania Dee’s (Investigation Report) Murder Case, Parricide charges by Tania Dee
Case on June 20, 2015 at Angeles City as requested by Mrs. Nydia Deldoc in connection in
subject (English 215A) Technical Writing, with the follow up investigation report to Tania Dee.

Matters Investigated: The investigation of the murder case of the bank teller Tania Camille Dee
Murder case in Angeles City.

Facts of the case: The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday filed charges of parricide
and murder against the estranged husband of bank teller Tania Camille Dee and his girlfriend.

Pampanga police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group head, Chief Inspector Ferdinand
Aguilar, said the parricide case was filed against Fidel Sheldon Arcenas Jr. and murder charges
for his girlfriend, Ma. Angela Dychioco and several "John and Jane Does" before the Department
of Justice (DOJ).

In a three-page affidavit, the CIDG narrated how Dychioco admitted her participation in the
crime by helping Arcenas bury Dee's body at a shallow pit inside the vacant house of her
mother in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City last June 20.

She said that fear for her life led her to help her boyfriend put the remains of Dee in the shallow
pit and then clean the place afterward to remove traces of blood.

Dychioco said she did all these compelled by Arcenas, who is now on the run from the
authorities.

But the CIDG recommended that Dychioco be placed under the Witness Protection Program
(WPP) on account of her helping law enforcers in investigating the crime even acknowledging
her participation in it.
The CIDG also recommended that her mother, Regina, be also placed under the WPP.

"With the principal suspect still at large, this office believes strongly that Angela, being the
witness-participant in trying to conceal the crime, and her mother, Regina, being the one who
reported her doubts that led to the discovery of the cadaver, must be secured in order to preserve
their statements and cooperation, protect their persons and so as not to frustrate the ends of
justice," the CIDG said in its recommendation.

Regina was visiting her vacant house when she noticed an unusually strange and foul odor,
leading her to inform the police.

A police search resulted in the discovery of Tania's body in a shallow pit at the back of the
house.

Dee was last seen alive in close circuit television camera (CCTV) footage inside a Japanese
restaurant in Angeles City, where she met Arcenas last June 20.

Recommendation: I recommend in the case of Tania Dee that the court will be prioritize by the
government for early solve the case and give a justice to the family of the victim and also to
Tania Dee.
