INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT

_________________________________________, a duly organized establishment existing under the Laws of

the Republic of the Philippines, with business address at
_______________________________________________ represented in this agreement by
_________________ agrees to accommodate the STUDENT INTERN, ___________________, _____ years of
age, a Bachelor of Science in __________________________________, student of Sorsogon State College for
the purpose of providing training in various department of the company. The training will begin on
_______________ and will end on _______________.
The following terms and conditions governs this agreement:
1. The COMPANY shall provide the STUDENT INTERN orientation and training on the areas pertinent to
his/her line of specialization.
2. The training agreement shall, not in any way, constitute an employee-employer relationship and the
STUDENT INTERN shall leave the company free and harmless from any demand, claim or complaint,
whatsoever arising from this training agreement, except in cases of gross negligence, illegal act or
criminal act committed by the STUDENT INTERN against the COMPANY or any of its officers and
employees.
3. If the COMPANY will grant the STUDENT INTERN a training allowance, it shall be based on company
policies. In case of off-site assignments, the STUDENT INTERN shall be provided the appropriate
representation and transportation allowances.
4. The STUDENT INTERN shall abide to all the rules and regulations of the company while on training.
5. The COMPANY have the right to terminate the training for justifiable reason like;
a. Habitual Absenteeism;
b. Willful disobedience of company rules or insubordination to lawful order of superior;
c. Engaging in violence or other forms of gross misconduct inside the company premises.
6. The STUDENT INTERN have the right to discontinue training for justifiable cause like;
a. Substandard or deleterious working condition within the company;
b. Cruel or inhuman treatment of the Intern by the company or its subordinates or assigned
supervisors;
c. Repeated violation by the company of the terms and conditions of this agreement.
7. The COMPANY has the option to hire the STUDENT INTERN if the COMPANY desires, after the
STUDENT INTERN completes the training hours.
8. The STUDENT INTERN shall not reveal any information that he/she have accessed to, nor such
information be used for academic purposes.
9. The COMPANY may assign the STUDENT INTERN in different operation units of the company 8 hours
a day. If there are no regular workers to do the job, and the job is of where the STUDENT INTERN has
already demonstrated high proficiency, the STUDENT INTERN may be requested to work beyond 8
hours and the excess hours rendered by the STUDENT INTERN shall be paid training allowance based
on the minimum wages or the hours rendered shall be deducted to the number of hours required by the
curriculum.
10. The COMPANY shall give prior notice to the SORSOGON STATE COLLEGE and the STUDENT
INTERN in case of change / transfer in branch or area assignment of the latter.
