Major and Minor Problems of Museum (Goals & Objectives)

Major Problem:

1. In recent decades the world has witnessed a boom in new museum buildings as well
as expansion and renovation projects. With the fast facing generation and in modern
technology that we have today, how can we provide a Museum which is
technological in development and has a new approaches in museum where it enable
architects to experiment with innovative architectural forms and thus challenge the
project by offering a wide range of new uses and purposes of the building?
Minor Problems:

1. What materials for construction can we use that are low – cost yet sustainable and
durable as well as those materials which normally used in constructing a museum?
2. What are the space planning and concept to be applied in building a Museum? How
can it achieve the ambiance look of a museum?
3. What structural concept should be applied in the construction of a museum to make it
more durable and timeless in terms of renovation?
4. What are the things that need to consider in site planning so that it can be more
accessible to the public, researchers and other institutions?

Goals and Objectives:

 To be able to create a physical museum environment suitable for learning and certain
basic needs of visitors have to be met.
 To locate, promote and preserve the history and heritage of the museum for the
benefit of the public.
 To exhibit members of the public materials related to the type of museum to be
constructed and maintain its appearance in and outside the museum.
 To provide not just the best but will be spatial and comforting to the users for better
learning/knowledge for them.
