II- PURPOSE

The Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP) is one of the National Greening

Program (NGP) of DEPED. The Department of Education through the Health
and Nutrition Center shall implement the Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP), in
partnership with the Department of Agriculture- Bureau of the Plant Industry
(DA_BPI), to address malnutrition and promote vegetable production and
consumption among children.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Use of garden to enhance learning experience of students.
-students involvement
- Adoption of technology by students in the school garden

2. Use garden as laboratory to teach basic concept of science and

agriculture
- Use of the school garden by teachers for learning opportunities
- Produce variety of vegetables for school feeding program

IV- EXPECTED OUTPUT

The students and teachers are expected to use garden for the

feeding program.

VI- PURPOSE

We would like to request the purchase of the garden tools. These
would be of great help in the preparation of seed beds and trays and garden
plots.

The students and teachers are expected to use the garden for the
enhancement of learning experiences and will adopt some technological
advancement. Furthermore, the teachers and students are encouraged to
cultivate more garden plots, improvised more pots, produce healthy and organic
vegetables.
The above mentioned garden tools will be accounted for and be kept
securely for gardening purposes.
