I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards:
i. demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight management to promote
community fitness
B. Performance Standards:
i. maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the
community
ii. practices healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle
C. Learning Competencies:
i. Undertakes Physical Activity and Physical Fitness Assessments
ii. Assesses eating habits based on the Philippine Food Pyramid/ My Food Plate
iii. Determine Risk Factor (Obesity, Physical Inability, Poor Nutrition, Smoking). For
major non-Communicable diseases lifestyle related (e.g. Diabetes, heart
diseases, stroke, cancer).
The teacher used a questioning methodology and springboard through the following:
1. Who among you here experiences to be a referee?
2. Do you know what to do when there is an accident that may happened during
your officiating?
3. Do you know what are the different injuries that may happened along the
process?
a. The teacher shows the different pictures and asks the following?
1. What does the picture show?
2. What are they doing?
3. What could be the possible injury the character is experiencing?
E. DEVELOPING MASTERY:
The teacher shows another sets of picture and asks the following:
1. Describe what is in the picture.
2. What is happening in the picture?
3. What injury does the character is experiencing?
G. GENERALIZATION / ABSTRACTION:
The teacher asks the following questions:
1. What are the common injuries?
2. Explain the different common injuries
H. EVALUATION:
A. The teacher will let the students do a pair think share and have the common injuries memorized
by group.
I. ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES:
A. Portfolio Creation
1. (Additional page for the portfolio) The teacher let the students compile pictures
of the different common injuries.

V. REMARKS:
1. Which of my teaching strategies worked well?
The teaching that worked well is the integration of the sense of humor while doing the
discussion with a pictures (utilize as instructional visual aid) which the sets and bring the
atmosphere of learning to openness and freedom of expression guided by the necessary
standard of the learning competency.
2. Why did this work:
The teacher was able to hold the students’ interests to learning and make the students
do 95 percent of the enrichment activities and gain an encouraging response during the
assessment process.
3. What difficulties did I encounter which my principal or supervisor can help me solve?
Some students tend to shift the learning pace into another dimension however after an
approachable practice of discipline the teacher was able to maintain and bring back the
glory of teaching
4. What innovation or localized material did I use/ discover which I wish to share with other
teachers?
The teacher along the process utilizes the student’s experiences in managing, holding
and grasping student’s interests looking as well on their nature as Grade 9 students.
Well-crafted questions that focuses on their internal revenue seems to let the students
determine their capacity to learn.
