Dependent Events
An event that is affected by the occurrence of previous events is known as a dependent event.
For example, if a colored ball has to be taken out from a bag having balls of different colors and
no replacement is done then each time the ball is taken out is an event dependent on the
outcome of previous events. For two events A and B if A has occured before B, then the
probability of the dependent event B = P(

Word Problems
Problem 1:
If there are 10 girls and 8 boys in a class, and two students will be chosen one after another for
debate competition then find the probability that both are boys.
