Communication Technology (ICT) can improve teaching learning in the classroom. What are the

possible disadvantages of using information technology in classroom?

Ans: Information and Communication Technology(ICT):

Information communication technology(ICT) is the

technology that is require for the information processing, storage, transmission, manipulation,

retrieval and entering of the digital data.

It is use in the electronic computers, communication devices and the software application that is

use to convert, store, protect, process transmit and retrieve the information at any where, any

time. ICT transfer the all kind of data and information at any time and any where, in this

technology distance is no matter when its accessing the information..

Examples:

- E-banking

- Distance learning

- E-government

- Working from house

Advantages of ICT:

1. Promotes independent learning in students.

2. It is the key enable for the creation of the network.

3. Encourages development of new teaching methods.

4. By using the ICT quickly access the information from the different websites.

6. Allows teachers to create an exciting way to educate students.

ICT improve the teaching and learning in the classroom:

1. Student by using the ICT organize the work easily and more clear.

2. ICT provide the different teaching methods for the different students such as audio, video

etc.

3. ICT provide the collaborative work, student work together on the same task.

4. ICT save the time and effort for the student that’s help in the teaching.

5. By using the ICT, student can access the information from the different websites.

Disadvantages of the ICT in the classroom:

1. Misuse of ICT: student are use the social network sites such as face book, twitter.

2. Can diminish overall value of in person education.

3. Makes students vulnerable to potential pitfalls.

4. Students access the unblock sites that affects on the health of the students.

5. It is the expensive technology that is more and more resources are require to implement

in the classroom.

technology in classroom.

Ans: Number of the Factors That Prevent the Teacher by Using This Technology:

1. Lack of the teaching experience with the using of the ICT.

2. Lack of the financial support.

3. Lack of the ICT train teacher that teach the students with the technology.
