DOC DPF

Operating Principles Glossary


Doosan DPF system consists of DOC, DPF, External HC Dosing system. DOC : Diesel Oxydation Catalyst
DPF eliminates PM in engine exhaust gas. DOC reduces HC, CO emission in engine raw emission and DPF : Diesel Particualte Filter
also produce NO2 to help DPF regeneration in low exhaust temperature (Passive Regeneration). MU : Metering unit
The second role of DOC is heating up exhaust gas to 600 celsius to regenerate DPF (Active Regeneration) IU : Injection unit
by external HC dosing.
