Environmental pollution is one of the biggest issues in the world and water pollution has

occurred seriously in my local area. Nowadays, it is difficult to see any clean lake, pond or
canal around my house. Because people often throw their household trash into canals and
the sewage from factories and the pesticides are dumped into lakes and rivers. Water
pollution causes many bad effects. It causes the death of marine plants and animals.
Moreover, when human beings intake contaminated water, they may get diseases. It also
causes disturbance to the ecosystem. Because of the great life of all creatures, we have
some ways to reduce water pollution. Water pollution can be controlled if farmers use fewer
fertilizers and pesticides. We also have clean-up days when people can come together to
pick up the plastics and waste that accumulates on water bodies. In conclusion, water isn't
unlimited resources that can handle whatever we take out or dump in. Without water,
everything on the planet including plants and animals would die so these waters need
protection
