While you can print most tax forms to plain paper (941s, 940s, and most state forms), the IRS
requires that you print your employee copy of the W2s on plain, perforated paper, and that

Year-end is a busy time for Peachtree Customer Support, but we’ve taken steps to ensure
we're fully prepared to serve you, including significantly increasing our call center staff. As
always, Sage will offer extended hours this year from December 29 – January 16 (we will be
closed New Year’s Day). Support specialists will be available Monday - Friday from 7:30
a.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET, and on Saturday, January 3 and January 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The W2 form must meet IRS specifications as it applies to margins, headers, and footers. The first
time you print the form, you should align it. Use this answer to ensure you have properly aligned
