Teachers are one of the greatest people whom we come across in our lives.
They show us the right path and groom us to become responsible citizens and good
human beings. Teachers are some of the most inspiring and influential people in our
lives. However, very often, we fail to show our appreciation and gratitude for their
unselfish devotion. Teachers do need encouragement and support from the community
to feel that their efforts are being recognized. To serve the purpose, Teacher's Day is
celebrated throughout the world, every year. By celebrating World Teacher's Day, we
thank our teachers for providing us their invaluable guidance. It aims to let each teacher
in the world to know his worth.

World Teacher’s Day has been celebrated by the BIS Teaching Force with
much fun and enjoyment last October 4, 2013. On this day, students bring gift for their
teachers like colorful flowers, greeting cards, and other items. Some students also write
poems and meaningful messages for teachers. It is an equally special day for teachers,
as they get to know how much they are liked and appreciated by their students.
Celebration of Teachers’ Day is considered to be the best opportunity for all the
students to show their appreciation to their teachers.
