How to Create Stamp Plots

Workflow # 1:
1. Insert a “New Function window” from Windows located under the tool bar.

2. To display the Pressure plot for each well: Go to Results panel  check the Observed data imported. Then, go to
Pressure folder and select (well Pressure); also select the well under the Identifier folder  well folder.

3. Once the plot is displayed, go to Edit located under the tool bar  select “copy bitmap” to copy the plot
created. Then, “paste the bitmap”.

4. The bitmap image will be stored under the Input panel. Repeat the steps 2 and 3 as many times as wells you
want to display under the stamp plot.
5. Insert a “New Map window” from Windows located under the tool bar.

6. Display the 3D Grid property in the Map window, for example: Check “Porosity” located under the Models
panel  Properties folder. Check the faults located under the models panel  Faults folder.

7. Display the wells located under the Input panel  Well folder.

8. To display the plots created previously (bitmap images) under the Map window, go to Input panel and check
the bitmap images.

9. To adjust the size of the plot (bitmap image) use the arrow in the tool bar on the right side hand. Also, the plot
can be moved and place it near to the well location.

Workflow # 2:
1. Insert a “New Map window” from Windows located under the tool bar. Display the Porosity Grid property located
under Model panel  Properties folder. Check the faults located under the models panel  Faults folder.

2. Go to the Tool bar and select the “New Object in window” icon. Then, select a “New Function viewport
window”. A little cross will appear in your map window, please drag it to create a square shape

3. Repeat the step 2 as many times as wells you want to display under the stamp plot.

4. To activate the function windows inserted select this; then the frame of the plot will become red.

5. To display the Pressure plot for a well: Go to Results panel  check the Observed data imported.
Then, go to Pressure folder and select (well Pressure). Also select the well under the Identifier folder > well
folder.

6. Repeat the steps 4 and 5 as many times as wells you want to display under the stamp plot.
