- ADVOCACY PLANNING SERVICES

We thank you for the opportunity given to us to provide you with our professional
services. For your information, we are providing professional services for Professional
Advocacy Town Planner Services.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

i. Preparation and submission of an objection to a planning or

development proposal.

ii. Preparation of material pertaining to planning issues in response to an

appeal or for presentation to the Courts or Appeal Board.

iii. Preparation of material could involve site visits, establishing the position
of the client, authorities, or other participants and establishing other
circumstances of the case.

iv. The findings could be presented in written statement to the client or

their representative. Written submission could be a report to the client
and their representative or as an affidavit for submission to the Courts
or Appeal Board.

v. Appearance before the Courts, Appeal Board or any authorized

review committee as an expert witness on town planning matters.

vi. Acts as an expert witness in any arbitration, or assessor, mediator in the

resolution of conflicts related to any planning matters between parties.
2. DELIVERABLES

i. Report containing materials of objections to the planning or development

proposal. The materials could involve site visits evaluation, establishing the
position of the client, authorities, or other participants and establishing other
circumstances of the case.

3. PROPOSED FEE FOR SERVICES

Based on the scope of works given as stated:-
*Based on the scale of professional fees by the Malaysia Institute of Planner
2005.

The above fee covers the cost of preparing planning reports (LCP), layout
plans, photographs and other documents for ONE TIME PLANNING
SUBMISSION to Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) .

4. SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS TOWN PLANNER

Schedule Payments
25% Upon Appoiment 5,000.00

25% Upon first official discussion and submission of appeal report 5,000.00
to authority

50% Upon getting decision of authority regarding the appeal. 10,000.00

Total 20,000.000

The total fee DOES NOT COVER the following:

i. Additional cost regarding the needs of this application to ensure the

deliverables of this project.

ii. The cost of reproducing documents like planning reports, layout plans,
photographs and other documents including those used in
communication between the Town Planner and the other independent
consultants and contractors and in making inquiries with the relevant
authorities.
 Terms and conditions of our appointment can be discussed in detail upon your request.
We hope our proposal is agreeable to you and your management. Kindly sign the
duplicate copy and return to us upon your agreement.
