VISA INFORMATION

You must be a resident of India or Sri Lanka in order to apply for a visa through the Embassy of Kazakhstan.
The visa applicant should come in person with exception of applications for diplomatic/service visas.

Work Visa – C3

You can apply for "C3" category Working visa (single entry until 90 days and until 1 year / multiple entry until 3
years; for Astana International Financial Centre workers until 5 years) if you are:

traveling to Kazakhstan with a purpose of work, including family members.

Work Visa – C4

You can apply for "C4" category Working visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 3 years) if you are:

traveling to Kazakhstan with a purpose of self-employment on professions which are in-demand in

economic sector of economy of Kazakhstan.

Work Visa (Business-Immigrant) – C5

You can apply for "C5" category Working (Business Immigrant) visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry
until 2 years; in some cases until 3 years) if you are:

Work Visa (Foreign seasonal workers) – C6 (/EN/DELHI/CONTENT/#) (/EN/DELHI/CON
You can apply for "C6" category Working visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 1 year *) if you
are:

foreign seasonal worker.

Application procedure

Hours

Application drop-off: 09:30 am to11:30 am

Visa pick-up: 11:30 am to 01:00pm

Operating days of Consular Section: weekdays (except Wednesdays and public holidays of Kazakhstan)

Processing Time

General visa: 5 working days (ex. Monday drop-off – Next Monday pick-up)

List of required documents

1. A completed visa application form. Download [WORD] (http://mfa.gov.kz/ les/59ac1cf666f0c.doc) .

2. An original passport of the applicant (must be valid at least three months after visa's date of expiry);

3. One passport-size photo (in colour) of the applicant;

4. An invitation letter (visa support) approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan (for C3, multiple
entry C4 and C5, C6);

5. Copy of the applicant's India or Sri Lanka Identity Card;

6. Visa fee payment con rmation (bank slip);

7. Copy of the applicant's passport ( rst page);

8. Dependent family members must provide con rmation of relationship (e.g. marriage and birth certi cates)
and copy of the visa of a primary applicant (if the primary applicant in Kazakhstan).

9. Certi cate of No Criminal Conviction (New Delhi) or Certi cate of Criminal Record (Sri Lanka);

10. Working permit (if applicable);

11. Statement of quali cations for self-employment issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of
Population of Kazakhstan (for a single entry C4); ↑

All documents issued by authorities of foreign country or region has to be legalized or apostilled.

Visa Fee

Visa fee: single entry – 80 USD, multiple entry – 200 USD

Visa fee for USA passport holders (http://mfa.gov.kz/ les/5940dafd6c490.pdf);

Countries waiving fees for minors (http://mfa.gov.kz/ les/5940df5ae38bc.pdf) on reciprocal basis. Those
countries who are not in the list must pay regular visa fee for minors;
