Entry will be confirmed only if all the fields (including FIDE ID) are completely filled out by
the Player. Furthermore, the player should have an active AICF Membership for the financial
year 2019-20.
Round Schedule
Prize Distribution at 6.30 pm on 1st January, 2020. Prize will be forfeited if the player doesn’t
attend the Prize Distribution.

RULES
❖ AICF Registration: Only players who have completed their AICF Registration for the
financial year 2019-20 are eligible to participate. Visit the link below to procure/renew your
AICF Membership:

❖ UKCA Registration: UKCA membership is compulsory for all the Karnataka players to
participate in this Event. Karnataka Players have two options provided in connection with the
UKCA fees:
1) To be exempted from paying the UKCA fee of Rs 50 for every tournament, players may
opt for the one-time UKCA membership fee of Rs1000/ -. The UKCA registration form may be
downloaded from www.karnatakachess.com
2) Players may choose to pay the UKCA registration fee of ₹50/ - if they do not wish to
become a UKCA Member.
❖ The tournament will be played on Swiss league basis under latest FIDE rules.
❖ Protest if any, shall be lodged in writing with protest fee of ₹1000 within 15 minutes of the
incident.
❖ Organizer has the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason.
❖ Players are required to bring their own water bottles– we will be providing drinking water
and avoiding using plastic/paper cups to protect our environment.
❖ Players and accompanying persons are required to arrange for their own food and
accommodation during the entire duration of the tournament.
