VLSI is a broad field and you need to be more specific as there cannot be just one
course to learn all of it (even a Master's degree has limitations to learn all)

The below online course focuses on how to build an EDA tool. It will require
programming experience (C++, Java) and basic knowledge of data structures and
algorithms.  An understanding of basic digital design:  Boolean algebra, Kmaps,
gates and flip flops, finite state machine design.  Linear algebra and calculus at
the level of a junior or senior in engineering.  Exposure to basic VLSI at an
undergraduate level is nice -- but it’s not necessary.  We will keep the course self-
contained, but students with some VLSI will be able to skip some background
material.

tell you the functional verification or give free course material. But, being free
they might take down the site at any time. There is no need for payment but if
you are serious about learning then you must join any reputable centre such as
QSoCs. This institute has professionals from the semiconductor industry
teaching you. So, they will tell you the practical difficulties that arise and the
best way to deal with them. You have the choice of becoming a verification
engineer or a physical design engineer at the QSoCs institute .
