Practice Package into the SAP
Best Practice Explorer download
basket.

(1) Click on Cancel.
(1) Click on Goto SAP Best

Practice Explorer link.
You are now on the SAP Best

Practice Explorer (rapid.sap.com).
Here you can choose between
different Solution Packages. You
should be logged on with the Basic
Authentication User who is
assigned to the related RFC
Connection (see also Note
2194123).

(1) Click on SAP S/4HANA

Solution Packages tile.
(1) Select Solution Package SAP

Best Practices for SAP
S/4HANA (on premise).

(1) Click on to expand the

information overview.
You will find all the needed

information and helpful
documents like Overviews,
Solution Scopes or Accelerators
directly within the Solution
Packages.
(1) Add the choosen Solution

Package to the download basket
via a Click on the Basket Icon.

(1) Click on the Home Icon to

return to Home area.

The chosen Solution Package is

now available in the download
basket of the Basic Authentication
User.
(1) Click on open browser

tab Solution Administration.
(1) Click on Import link.

the download basket is now visible
within the SAP Solution Manager.
(1) Select the available SAP Best

Practice Package via click on the
Checkbox .

(1) Select a Branch for the Import

via Click on the Drop Down
button.
(1) Click on Import to select the

Import Branch.

(1) Click on Text Box Enter

deployment name to define a
name for this New deployment.
(1) Enter the name of your New

deployment into the text field (e.g.
"Best Practice Import Demo").
In the last step the Source Content

Logical Component Groups of the
SAP Best Practice Package have
to be mapped with the System
Landscape Logical Component
Groups. If there are any Logical
Component Groups missing in the
target solution they have to be
created in advance on index tab
System Landscape of your
Solution Administration.

(1) Click on Drop Down button

to map the LCG for Success
Factors.
(1) Select SUCCESSFACTORS to

map the first Logical Component
Group.

(1) Click on the Drop Down

button to map the LCG for S/4
HANA.
(1) Select S4HANA to map

the second Logical Component
Group.

(1) Click on Button Import.
The Import of the chosen SAP

Best Practice Package into the
Import Branch starts.
(1) After successful import click on

Close Button.

shown on index tab Imports.
(1) Click on index tab Branches.
(1) Jump directly to the Import

Branch via Click on Open link.

Pracitice Packages you will find
them within an automatically
created folder with name SAP
Best Practices Import.
(1) Click on folder SAP Best

Practices Import.
(1) Select the available SAP Best

Practice Package/ Scenario SAP
Best Practices for SAP
S/4HANA (on premise)
(S4HANA1709 - US).
The imported SAP Best Practice

Package is available as scenario
with all ist included Processes,
Process Steps, Executables,
Documents, Diagrams and
Building Blocks.
