B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering)-8th Semester Examination held in May-2019
Result of each candidate is shown in the column of Result. Grade shown in the column of result as per scaling
point. A student (except for Pre Ph.D. and M.Phil.) shall be required to maintain a minimum of 4.5 CGPA (5.06 for
Law Courses(Batch:2017-18), 5.62 for P.G. level courses in Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy) at the end of the even
semester of each academic session. A student, for Pre Ph.D. courses, shall be required to maintain a minimum of
6.75 CGPA or above, in order to be eligible to submit the thesis. If a student fails in three or more courses at
the end of the session including summer term, he/she will be declared as having failed in that year. The
conversion of CGPA to Percent Score will be carried out by multiplication of respective CGPA by a factor of 8.9.
* The candidate is having repeat/repeats in any course.
In case of Pre. Ph.D. the candidate will have to opt another course in lieu of such a course with the
approval of his/her supervisor, and will have to obtain at least 'C+' grade in this course within one year of
first taking up of that course, failing which his/her registration to the Ph.D. programme will be cancelled.


