Welcome Back, we missed you!
December 14, 2018
As the principal of PCAS, I am excited about the upcoming year and what it holds for our
students. It is a true honor to be the principal of such an amazing year!
Ø August 19

School has been in session for one week and we’re off to a great start! We had a very busy, but great first

day of school. The students enjoyed all the activities and especially the watermelon. We are grateful to the

Ø September 3-6 Thank you, parents, for coming to Open House! The children always feel better about coming back to school

Ø September 23-26 ü Please be aware that next week August 19, is Noon dismissal, so plan accordingly.
Parent/Teacher
Conference ü Lunches are to be pre-ordered. I have attached August lunch menu. Review with your children the
menu to make sure that they want the lunch that is being offered. If you have not ordered yet
Ø October 14 please have this turned in by Monday.
Noon dismissal; Teacher ü Parents are encouraged to send lunches of a wholesome nature and limit sugar and sweets.
Professional Development ü Anyone arriving at campus after 8:00am must get a tardy slip from the school office before going
to their classroom. Four tardies in a 9-week period is considered excessive.
Ø October 18
ü Please be aware that after 3:15 pm, anyone on campus will be moved to the afterschool care. This
End of 1st Quarter
means you will have to enter the building for pick up and your signature will be required for
Ø October 21 release. Afterschool care is until 6:00pm. A LATE FEE of $1.00 per minute will be charged after
Second Quarter 6:00pm.
Begin ü A gentle reminder about uniform... Thank you to all parents who make sure their children are in
Ms. Felix
the proper school uniform. We are really proud of the school uniform and expect all children to
wear it.

Please, can we remind you to visit our school website with regards to financial obligations, including
tuition, lunches, field trips, etc. At the bottom of the page you will see a PayPal link to handle all kinds of
payments. If we can be of any further assistance to you, please feel free to contact us through our school
office at (941) 625-5237. Office hours are from 7:45am to 3:00 pm. We look forward to meeting you soon.
If you need to speak to the principal or your child’s teacher, please make sure to schedule an appointment
through the front office. Friendly reminder: Please do not disturb principal or teachers during class
hours.
