TECHNOLOGY-BASED ART

GROUP ACTIVITY
A. The teacher will group the class into five and will show 2 sets of artworks.
B. Set A is composed of posters, magazine/book covers, brochures, advertisements and other
computer generated artworks and Set B is composed of painting, sculpture and sketch.
C. Each group wil classify the different sets of artworks into traditional art or computer art
through describing its characteristics.
4.2 Activity
D. Every group will have a representative to present the gathered ideas and will share it to the
(15 minutes)
class.
Guide Question:
1. Would you able to classify these sample artworks as traditional or computer art? Explain how.
2. Which set of artworks can be considered as artworks in the 21st century? Name its
characteristics.
3. How would you describe these computer-generated artworks?
The teacher will ask:
1. Which set of artwork can be produced with the use of computer?
2. What do you think are the characteristics of artworks in the 21st century?
3. What are other examples of technology-based art?
The teacher will present technoloy-based art examples.
