Yes...it also depends on how you couch the question. Remember we weren't to supposed to have "fence locations"
before we consulted the stakeholders, so to say we changed our laydown would be contradictive to our statement.
It is more correct to say "that meetings with landowners resulted in this laydown due to .....Do you agree?

You have it. It was (b) document. If the desire is to have specific reasons why landowners "worked" with us,
then we will get answers
(6) like I gave...a disabled person asked that we take all of his land instead of half of it
OBP006016

because he wouldn't be able to get to the rest of his land if it wasn't contiguous. The sectors didn't return any real
feel good scenarios during the last data calls. We didn't specifically ask either. We were asked to get #'s and
locations. That is why I requested specifically what is wanted this time around. I know you are just trying to get
what is being asked of you but I really don't think it's there.... no matter how many times we ask. Thanks.

All,
I am not sure how specific we want to get with each of the individual landowner cases. We can't release names.
Each of the scenarios were individual meetings. Do you want the landowner is disabled and preferred we took all
of the land instead of half his land? This will be the 4th time we have asked the sectors for the same information.
Please be specific as I do not want to do this again and have the same results. Thanks.

Recommend (b) (6) or (b) (6) take the lead in the coordinating the assemblage of this info. I think most of it
will come from OBP.

Hi (b) and Loren.

(6)

Thanks for the quick responses.

My impression was that the previous list in that it represented general changes, and in this case we are looking for
results of coordination with individual landowners.

That may be a request that belongs more with the Border Patrol, but I thought we might have that.

I’m attaching a copy of the one-pager that I have on our changes, please take a look and let me know if there is
anything else we can add.

Thanks again.

(b) -you have previously seen my list, which represents adjustments made during the scoping site visits. As you
suggest, we should ask the Corps for any changes that have occurred during the recent real estate efforts.
(6)

We will also need to get Border Patrol's assistance with this. I think they made a number of alignment adjustments
to accommodate landowners during their initial planning phase that we may not be aware of.

Good afternoon Loren.

Rowdy and I met last week with (b) (6) and CBP office reps to discuss the consultation requirement in our
2008 appropriation.

As a result, we have been tasked to compile anecdotal information on where the government has made
accommodations to meet reasonable requests of landowners.

An example might be if we moved a fence a few yards on a landowner’s property to accommodate a generator or
pump.

Working with USACE can you come up with examples where we have made these type of accommodations?

Rowdy, please correct me if I’m off base with any of the above.

Thanks.
