Sample Drawings and Vicinity Maps for a Permit Application

Note: The following are examples of typical plans. More information may be requested as determined
on a case by case basis.

Vicinity Map

A vicinity or location map showing the site of the proposed activity. The site must be clearly marked and
shown in relation to the nearest major roads, cities, and waterways in the area. The map needs to have enough
information to allow someone to look at the map and be able to get to the site without requesting more
information. Maps and all drawings must be in black and white only on 8.5 x II-inch paper. Maps must have a
title block and number scheme (sheet _ of ->. If more than one map is required, they may be on separate
sheets. If they are submitted on one sheet they both must be legible.

• United States Geological Survey (USGS) maps
• Key maps

Driving Instructions to Project Site: From Broadway (Hwy 45) travel south on 61 st Street to Stewart Road.
Tum right on Stewart Road to 99 th Street. Tum right on Sydnor Lane. Travel on Sydnor Lane to the point
where the road makes a northbound 90 degree tum. The drainage ditch is located south of Sydnor Lane where
Sydnor lane makes the northbound 90 degree tum.
