KEY OBSERVATIONS

 For the proper functioning of a mall the efficient cooling system and Sewage treatment system should
be there. Proper powers supply also an essential part in the functioning of mall.
 A Mall can be called efficient when it connects with the customer through the various touch points ,
whether the entry into the premises thorough pedestrian entry or entry to car park, proper & ample
parking, easy connectivity from parking to Mall level etc.
 For the proper functioning of a mall the efficient cooling system and Sewage treatment system should
be there. Proper powers supply also an essential part in the functioning of mall.
 The mall is a collection of independent retail stores, services, and a parking area, which is conceived,
constructed, and maintained by a separate management firm as a unit.
 A mall can provide the best shopping experiences such as social gatherings, entertainment,
performances, product launches, promotions and festivals and there by satisfy needs and wants.
 Each items of the event including games, lighting, shops and decorations were done very well to attract
customers.
 A mall has to conduct a number of programs and activities to attract their customers.
 Data should be properly documented and kept for future analysis.
 Promotional activities of our mal has been categorized into two.ATL(above the line) and BTL(below
the line). ATL activities include huge amount of money including advertising in
newspapers, radio,televisison,etc.Whereas BTL includes notice boards,flex,standees etc
 Promotion activities help the mall to attain its marketing goal.
 A mall has to spend huge amount of money for its marketing activities around 2 crore per annum
 The mall adopt better marketing strategies to reach their customer
 All the programs arranged in the mall are their strategies to reach the target customers
 Sales promotions have become such an integral part of an organizations promotion mix .In the
competitive market sales promotion is essential to survive.
 Implementing new ideas and programs leads the events to be more attractive
 Flee market’s characteristics are entirely different from ordinary markets
 A mall should always strive towards providing different market and shopping experience to its
customers
 It is not enough that a mall has number of shops in it,the mall should undertake activities to improve
footfall, and those activities need to be properly promoted
 Different market strategies shall be adopted for sales promotion
 Each mall is entirely different from other malls in its structure operations and brands Malls operate in a
state of stiff competition so there must be proper marketing activities to ensure steady footfall
 The company needs to arrange attractive events based on the people preference and needs.
 In a company, For improving business process it is essential to document the data and there by adopt
necessary changes
 Place is an important factor in screening a social event(world cup)
 Providing offers and discounts on such a social event will attract more customers
 Based on the interaction between customers, marketing as a profession needs good communication
skills in English and Hindi
 Visited various apartments in the city and understand that apartments in prime view will be seen as a
place to reside but there are wide scope for promotional activities
 The marketing department should be always keen in ensuring its activities are done effectively as
planned
 Whatever activity that is entrusted to an outside agency need to be constantly revised

,rate charged ,past records etc.

survey it is clear that consumer behavior will affect the buying decision
 Learning different types of portals (just dial) which could help our company to reach the target
customers
 By adopting effective strategies and through proper function a mall can bring number of stores to the
mall.
 Every department and its activities should be examined continuously for attaining improvement
 While creating a report for the company, we must be careful about its clarity and make sure that all
the details like sale, top brands, footfalls etc are included in the report.
